Opened by Rick Stein and Jill Stein in 1975, The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow is famous for establishing an international reputation for the very freshest fish and shellfish, often landed on our doorstep. Head chef, Stephane Delourme and his team create simple seafood dishes with classic flavours using Rick's recipes. We have a seafood bar right in the middle of the restaurant where you can watch chefs assembling platters of oysters, langoustines and sashimi. No Reservations are required for the bar and you can order anything from the a la carte menu.
After a cocktail at Ruby’s Bar and a short run in the rain we received a warm welcome at the reception, we were shown straight to our table it’s quite a large restaurant but still cosy and comfortable. We were asked if we had any questions about the menu and after asking about the heat of the chilli in the crab the dish was perfectly explained to me warning that it was messy and large. We had the seafood soup and the coconut prawns to start they were both excellent. I chose to accept the challenge of the crab which was delicious it was messy and slippery and huge, finger bowls were provided and changed when needed, it still makes me smile to think about it now. The sea bass wrapped in a banana leaf was also excellent. Chocolate fondant followed by coffee and chocolates to finish. We had Camel Valley sparkling rose to accompany the meal and a sparkling red with the dessert. Overall it was fantastic the young team of servers did a great job. Also talking to people in the town they have a great fondness for Rick Stein for breathing life into Padstow and by providing jobs.

binTwo is an Independent Wine Merchant and Champagne Bar nestled just yards from the buzzy and beautiful quayside in Padstow, North Cornwall. We welcome our customers to enjoy some of the finest coffee in town all lovingly prepared by our shockingly good baristas. Or how about and aperitif before indulging in Padstow's finest fare? We have an enviable range of handpicked wines available by the glass throughout the day, or for a small corkage charge you can choose any bottle from the shop and sip it out on our Terrace (Blankets provided!). Or some bubbles perhaps? A firm favourite of the team, try a glass of Billecart-Salmon Brut or Brut Rosé. For the cooler months we resign the Pimms to the top shelf and serve up warming mulled wine and brandy hot chocolates. We look forward to seeing you all..
Cannot believe in all our years of visiting Padstow we had never visited here before! However once found we could not stay away.Excellent choice of Champagne and Wine. David was a font of knowledge, and other staff were kind, attentive and pleasant. We sat and watched the world go by with cosy blankets and champagne along with a few tasty nibbles outside, and enjoyed the warm ambience inside with other visitors.Definately our new favourite place to hang out.Thank you!

The St Moritz s team is committed to serving the finest British food, using predominantly Cornish ingredients. Our restaurant's success is built on innovation and freshness;which is what you'll find across all our menus, whether you are a child or grown-up, vegetarian or carnivore, whether you are looking for a Manhattan-style brunch or a full Sunday roast.Head Chef, Nick Osborne, changes the restaurant menu daily; he publishes the menu between 4 and 5 p.m. each afternoon once he has purchased his fresh fish brought ashore by the day boat fishermen.
We went to the restaurant after some treatments at the spa. We had oxtail croquettes and moules mariniere to start. Both of us then had the fish and chips. All dishes were fresh, cooked perfectly and well presented. The desert: chocolate brownie with ice cream was delicious. Picpoul wine by the glass was very pleasant accompaniment. Would highly recommend although very low season and restaurant sparsely populated. Interested to see if this very high standard is maintained in the summer. Will have to visit again to test the theory

Situated on the bank of the Camel Estuary, with amazing views across the water to Padstow. Child friendly, Dog friendly. Kids and dogs menu's! Extensive range of coffee's, tea's, wines and food. Something for everyone, from tea cakes to lobsters........
1st visit on New Years Day and the number of Diners in the restaurant and queuing out the door indicated this would be a good venue and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent menu choice and Specials Board covering all bases combined with a good wine list, all served by personable young energetic staff make this a definite dining destination for us when in Rock.

We went for dinner this evening for our wedding anniversary. We booked in advance and asked for a cosy table for 2 outside. We were seated on a very cold evening right by the heater in the outside covered area and were happy with that. I so wanted to give a 5 star review and there were a couple of small things that stopped me from giving this but first to the positives. The food we had was fabulous. We eat out a lot and love fish but are so often disappointed but not here. We loved everything we ate and it was all cooked perfectly. Crab bisque, tomato arancini, hake and sea bream were fabulous. I’d mentioned when booking it was our anniversary and they remembered that too when I had a dessert. A couple of things that let it down. For the price charged we would have expected to be asked to taste the wine and have it poured and when my husband asked for extra bread and be told it was coming and for it not to appear (you weren’t that busy) was disappointing. Our waitress was charming and attentive but maybe your training doesn’t include offering the wine to be tasted or pouring it? Please do not be put off by these small points because with the food being so good we will be back overall we had a lovely evening. Thank you

The service and staff are very good, attentive and freindly.
The food on the other hand wasn't quite as good. All the dishes just seem unloved.
Very basic presentation with forgetful flavours, lacking in texture and seasoning.
The pudding was the highlight, overall I am disappointed and wouldn't return.

Visited The Pityme Inn on four occasions over the New Year period ,couple of time just for a drink , and on two times for a meal ,we received a warm welcome with excellent service.
Good varied choices on the menu , and the Specials board.
We did have a small problem with one meal but it was dealt with in a polite efficient manner and we were totally happy with the outcome.
I particularly liked the fact the waiting staff checked every customer eating on every course , nice to see !!

A small, family run restaurant in Rock, Cornwall
We have eaten here before on previous visits to Cornwall and The Dining Room does not disappoint. The restaurant has had a small refurb and looks even more lovely: comfortable, stylish and welcoming. As ever, the service was outstanding. The food was equally delightful and we enjoyed every mouthful. I enjoyed the canapes, bread and amuse bouche as well. The wine was also very good. I whole heartedly recommend and still prefer it here to the more famous restaurants nearby.

We arrived today frozen by the harbour wind and were so happy that we did. We were seated quickly to a lovely little corner seat that was convenient as we with with our older mom's. The waitress was lovely and easily persuaded into cake.
The Cappuccino was lovely and creamy and I enjoyed a lovely little pot of Cornish tea.
We were then amazed at the generous portions of cake that were served.
The raspberry and coconut cake was beautiful and my mom was raving about the Apple and cinnamon.
The bill was a pleasant surprise as we thought the prices would be higher.
A beautiful little gem.
Great, friendly atmosphere.
