Pirot has several very good restaurants. We visit a different one every week and have narrowed that circuit down to five restaurants. But this one is the best I think.
They have a good wine list. They have very good service. Most importantly they have very good food and a great steak.

The "Lovacka dzigerica" is the best we have tasted in all restaurants.
Several restaurants in Pirot serve an excellent quality of meat. But certainly the "dzigerica" is in Desetka the best. We have visitid the restaurant several times and were satisfied with the quality of food and drinks.

During our holidays we often visit Kafana Varos. It is among our favourite restaurants, sometimes difficult to choose because several restaurants have an excellent grill. The outside of Varos is very beautiful and every time we have been served very well. The ambience is great so next holiday we will surely come back to this restaurant.

The restaurant is located at the complex of Pirot regional museum within the houses dating from 19th century where some famous Serbian films were filmed (Zona Zamfirova, Ivkova slava).
The food is excelent, from the local starters like melted cheese called djubek to great Pirot grill.

Our friends have visited this restaurant several times. For my wife and me it was the first time. Unfortunately the weather was not good, it was raining. But we could still sit outside. The salads were perfect, the drinks well, the meat okay.
There are a lot of very good working restaurants in Pirot so the concurrency is very big. The restaurants have to deliver a high standard and this restaurant does qualify for this.

During our holidays we have visited several times Restoran Lane Moje in Pirot with friends from Pirot. Every time we have enjoyed our food and drinks. The only pity is that in summer they only have a little terras outside. There is a lot of compensation for this little inconvenience. The quality and quantity of the food are excellent. They surely have one of the best grills but also the salads are excellent.

We went here on a weekend trip, and honestly were not disappointed. We shared a platter of oxtail, beef ribs, and pork. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and came with a side of yummy oven roasted potatoes that were just right.
Beer, some lovely spirits, and great service even though the place was packed.
Best of all the place was not smoky (a common problem in Serbia), as they have excellent ventilation.
The only slightly flat note was the pickled cabbage I ordered, as it obviously was being pickled with other veg so was slightly bland in flavour. Regardless though I recommend and hope to come back.

Pirot has a number of good restaurants. Add this one to the list. We had a lovely bottle of Izba Jovanavic Merlot (Nis Serbia). My wife had a steak with Gorgonzola sauce and I had chicken. We also has soup and grilled mushrooms. Everything was very good.
The service was good.

Authentic italian restaurant awarded from "Italian gastronomic association", "National Italian pizza chefs org.", and "Sicilian Gastronomic Academy" for presentation, innovation, development, and originality in representing italian cuisine.
We will never come here again. We wait for more then 1 hour And still not have the pizza. No excuse.
