the potential of the place is ok, with two fishponds where you can catch your fish /not for sportsmen, as the ponded is overcrowded fish that happily bites a plan fishhook.
halaszlé soup is always great there, but we received very different quality service (and the quality and TEMPERATURE of the food) during the four visits we paid the restaurant so far. obviously different shifts mean two different restaurants in this case. i would give five points to one of the shifts and one to the other one. three is the average.

Restaurant Furman is true slovak restaurant located at the near the famous spa town Piešťany. In addition to high quality catering services, we are able to prepare a variety of social and corporate events. We offer a variety of meals from Slovak and international cuisine. Off course, friendly staff and reasonable prices are here.
I took my customers to this fantastic restaurant outside Piestany. We had a very nice meal. Very basic food, but well cooked. The atmosphere in this restaurant is very good. The animals you are eating is waking around outside the restaurant. Its well worth a visit.

We have dined on quite a number of occasions at Le Griffon. It has a good relaxed atmosphere, is well furnished and has knowledgable and friendly wait staff. The menu is relatively short, which we regard as a good sign and usually sports a special...MoreThank you very much for your nice review about us. We hope to senn you soon in our restaurant Le Griffon :-)

Gehört zum Hotel Thermia Palace
We sat on the Terrace on a lovely sunny afternoon for a late lunch, so it was relatively quiet. The service was just right attentive but not intrusive, the waitress spoke good english and gave some very good suggestion for local wine. My friend thought her club Sandwich was top quality, my slad was fine but I would not go that far!

OK food, although nothing extraordinary. Helpful staff. The outside garden Seating looks nice, but we were there in winter. Overall quite a pleasant experience. I would reccomend this place.

We picked this restaurant as the garden was full of people.
The waitress was not too nice and looked like "oh my, yet another tourist here" (not sure who she expects to meet in a restaurant in Piestany).
Being in Slovakia for many times before, we always ordered Slovakian "national dish" - Halušky. We did the same over here. "Halušky" were floating in a liquid resembling fresh cream, but as far as we know, there should be no fresh cream in this dish. After telling the waitress that we did not really like the meal, we were informed that the sheep cheese simply melts like that on a hot plate. I do not want to judge whether this is true, or not. But it never happened before in many Slovakian restaurants we visited, that the sheep cheese was diluted with fresh cream.
All in all, we did not leave hungry. But we would not visit this restaurant again.

We were walking towards the town centre after arriving in PIeštany by train, and we happened upon this gem of a restaurant. The pizza was delicious, straight from the wood-fired pizza oven, and the toppings were more generous than we have found generally in Europe. The grilled salmon salad was the best I've ever eaten, with a fruity, light dressing. We went back the next day for another pizza, and it was just as good as the day before. The atmosphere and decor are unique, with bookshelves, antiques, and even a large blue rowing scull suspended from the ceiling. We had attentive servers who had enough English to communicate with our minimal Slovak, and the menu was also in English. The prices were very reasonable as well. Great place!!

Good quality food and wine at this Piestany local. Not your average fare for this town. The duck breast was a little overdone but paired nicely with the red cabbage. A great chilli bean soup this left the mouth tingling. Extensive wine list. All very reasonably priced.

Every time we visit Piestany we are tempted into Monsalvy. This is somewhere a bit special to relax and indulge a special snack. Their hot chocolate pushes every other one you have ever had into third place and the selection of heavily chocolate laced cakes is like nothing we have encountered before. Take a holiday from your diet and indulge. Love chocolate - love Monsalvy.
