Before visiting Sikkim I had gone through the places of eatery interest. This was one among that. We reached around 3 pm in the afternoon and it was almost time to tea. We had Ginger lemon honey tea and meat tupkas

This is a special shop, run by the staff of Denjong Padma Choling Academy for underprivileged children. The benefits go to them. It was founded by Sonam Yongda, the admiral of last king of Sikkim, known as "Captain" locally. The tea is really good. Other items are OK.

Sort of seems like the best place to eat in Pelling for westerners, partly because of the lovely atmosphere created by the ambient lighting in the restaurant and the mixture of Seating with sofas, a view and a wood burner inside, although that doesn't stop every local leaving leaving the door open every time they come in or out lol.
Service can leave a bit to be desired but you get there in the end.
Food is ok but overall it's a nice place, we came about 3 times in the few we were here.

Sort of nice location if you can get a window table and watch the world go by outside. Dinning options are very limted in Pelling.

We strive to provide local organic meals in our restaurant with raw materials sourced from our own farms and other local organic farms nearby. We are named Roots and Shoots because the local cuisine is full of roots and shoots of various plants available here. We also specialize in other dishes like Chinese, Indian, Tandoori, Continental and local cuisines.
Its an in house resto- bar just attached to front office . The food served in this restaurant is said to be sourced from their own ancestral farms which are organic since decades certified recently. The Niguro (Fern shoots) with churpi ( Raw cheese) and gorkhey chatneey are wonderfully excellent. Its taste is mostly enjoyed by local officers. I ALWAYS RECOMMED to have the wine and dine here

Its a restaurant in Ravangla Bazar Area, on the main street. The ambience is good & clean. The service is fast. The quality offood is average. We had momo, chilli chicken & chicken chowmin. The price is reasonable. But we found the quality of food is better in an adjacent restaurant( 10 zing). Tourist may try out there, as well.

It's a simple place with a great location. We sat there and ordered a plate of momo's and a cup tea. The momo's were served with 2 sauces (spicy and less spicy). I enjoyed the spicy variant. Tea was as usual tasty.
This place is completely made with wood, and surrounded with silence, which gives a great place to relax and enjoy local delicacies.
Location: This place is between Peeling Fuel Center and Melting Point, with a green board, saying its name.
