Parwanoo is a municipal council in Solan district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is an industrial town. It has himachal's biggest wholesale market. It borders Panchkula district of Haryana, and is after the towns of Pinjore and Kalka on the Chandigarh Simla Highway. In fact it is separated by a river bed from the town of Kalka. Pinjore to Parwanoo is almost a continuous urban belt. From Pinjore there is also a road to Baddi. Another nearby industrial town of Himachal.

Gyani Dhaba is a restaurant/motel located 200 mtrs ahead of the Kasauli T-Point. The place serves to the people going to Shimla and other places ahead. The cuisine is Dhaba Food which means the usual Dal & Paneer dishes. Along with that they also serve "Lemon Chicken" which is the signature dish. The place serves the best Chicken Curry on that stretch of road to Shimla. Apart from the food, you can also get all kind of Candy's & Drinks(Local or Imported at this place).
This is the best place to eat at Dharampur. Do try the yummy tandoori paranthas with butter and tea, the best ull get on Chandigarh Shimla Highway. Non-Veg dishes are also good for lunch and dinner. Overall it's a good place for meals. You might have to wait for your turn because usually all the tables are occupied.
However, currently this place is under renovation/ relocation due to widening of Highway.
Hope to see it in a new avatar SooN.

Great Air conditioned restaurant right next to the TRain station in Kalka, with Indian, South Indian and Chinese cuisines.
I ate early on a weekday night. The place seems geared to high volume, quick turnover clientele. I chose a vegetarian biryani dish which was well presented, but lacked subtle spicing, or much other than rice and the over heavy tomato ganish.
Service was quick and obliging, but a distinctly average dining experience.
The premises appear clean and well maintained.
Restaurant is located 400 mts from Kalka station

The restaurant was dirty with uncleaned tables. The adjoining kitchen was also very dirty. There was only one waiter and he was shabbily dressed. he was unable to take orders and serve five tables that had guests. He got our order wrong and when questioned replied that the cook made it by habit that is why he got it wrong. The entire floor and the restaurant was uncleaned for a while.

Hangout is a Roof Top Bar cum Restaurant and the most happening place specially in the evenings. It has a very romantic ambience, a DJ plays English and Hindi songs almost all evenings. Stags are not allowed strictly to make the place suitable for couples and females.Recently we have installed a Telescope imported from USA for viewing of Moon in the evenings or near by towns in the day, which is liked by the guests enjoying their evenings.
We went to Hangout in Hotel Kasauli Regency with high expectations after checking out the Trip Advisor reviews. It’s rare that your high expectations are met and even rarer when they are surpassed.
I cannot recommend Hangout highly enough, it’s set in a beautiful location with gorgeous views of the hills. It was windy and also extremely cosy because of its interiors.
I have to mention Mr. Pradeep who took care of our table. His service was top notch, he was polite and courteous and also very competent at his job.
The food was really good too. Try the Lemon Chicken, Chopsuey, Fried rice and even the Butter Chicken. These are fairly common dishes but it’s not common to find such good food in a city like Kasauli. The food was fresh, hot and delicious.
I also have to complement the music that was playing in the restaurant, it livened up our lunch like nothing else. It’s a youthful and energetic place and I will be returning with my friends for dinner very soon.
The portion sizes are small so keep that in mind and the restaurant is on the fourth floor without an elevator. But the climb is totally worth it.
Highly recommended from a soon-to-be repeat customer.

Situated inside Famous Timber trail Resort near Parwanoo on Chandigarh-Shimla highway. Parking is big problem here. Place is superb just on top of the hill with beautiful views. Live music is played which add cherry to the environment. Food is good and nicely served but prices are too high. No doubt place has improved a lot over a years. Almost comparable to 4 star Resort. Sit in open area and enjoy fresh air. Good place for celebration of special occassions. Prices is the only concern.

A Small Cafe making in marks with its culinary skill in the hearts of Kasauli visitors. The cafe is just an outlet of Rudra Aventura offering a complete out door at the camping station in Village Nahri of Kasauli.Rudra Aventura Provides its guests with Play, Food and Stay. Every thing offered by Rudra Aventura from Food ( Cafe Rudra) to Adventure takes you a bit away from the league. Making a distinct signature.
This restaurant is in the main heritage market of Kasauli. It has a good menu. Specially the pancakes and sandwiches and coffee are good. Music is another good thing about this place. Although the cafe is very small and can accomodate at max 10 ppl at one time.

Around the clock service with us at 24/7, a spacious bar & restaurant at the lobby level, this all day diner serves a range of cuisine, from authentic Indian dishes to continental and Pan-Asian specialties. The alfresco extension of the restaurant that holds true to the greenery of the city makes it ideal for evening get together, dinner dates and brunches; adding to the ambience is the live music band that varies weekly. Besides an a-al carte menu the restaurant offers a breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. The restaurant serves limitless refreshing mocktails and cocktails and huge variety of over flowing sparkling wines, champagnes, beers and a host of other alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
As the attractive name says the restaurant is open at all times. They serve the best taste and quality of food even at late night. The ambiance is very good and pleasant. The staffs are very calm and attentive. The restaurant is neat and tidy.

Baluchi, the signature Pan Indian restaurant has set the bar when it comes to authentic Indian curries and meats, marinated with rare herbs and exotic spices. A special attraction of the restaurant is the Naanery i.E. The bread bar offering a selection of artisanal breads baked the classic Indian way in an iron tandoor instead of the universally used clay tandoor. Those rushed for time can go for the Express Lunch Thali. Cuisine: Pan Indian Timings: Lunch: 12:00noon - 3:00pm Dinner: 7:00pm - 11:30pm
