Great mall but entrance sucks. There are all vendors taxis autos and garbage at the main entrance. What’s the point of having food vendors outside when there is so much food inside mall. Spoils the whole look of mall. Another point is security who literally rapes you with their hands while you enter. They thoroughly do hand search on your whole body before letting you in.

I went to this placed for my project but I was fascinated by the beauty of this place so I decided to visit it again, It was not possible to take full tour of it so I made my Secret Wishlist for it, First I went to library as I entered I thought nobody is inside But when I saw I was Shocked That there is no empty seat all were Reading and if you made little noise it will disturb all of the readers so I enjoyed the view very quietely and had an interaction with the staff and they told me that they had more than 4 lacs of book.it's another amazing thing. then i went to canteen it was filled with huge crowd. All were mad after the food they served I tried the stuff and then automatically came to know the reason behind the crowd is yummy food they served. Then I moved to the garden and the other area's and department library I found the building is oil and somewhere there is need of repairing but altogether it was a memorable journey of mine!

Next to city centre, in Sector 16 is situated Zakir Hussain Rose Garden Asia's largest Rose Garden and is spreaded over 30 acres of land having over 1600 different species or roses. These have been planted beautifully carved out lawns and flowers beds. Like the cultural zone which is just across the road in sector 10,this was also planned by Dr. M.S. Randhawa as his interest in horticulture and fondness for flowers was profuse.
There is nothing much to do in this garden other than roses. There are several species of same and if you are a fan of flora...you'll love it. Be prepared to walk a lot..since this is a huge garden

Beautiful views.
You take the cable car up to the top where you'll find the hotel. A restuarant and a cafe.
The food at both were alright.
There is also a play area with swings, see-saw and monkey bars.
Though you can only stay up there for 2 hours (unless you are residing in the hotel).

I thought this would simply be Fountains playing with coloured lights on a timer at their base but in fact it's a lot more sophisticated than that.
The range of spray settings is large, so that many different formations can be achieved and the lights range from sheets of colour, through multi-coloured shifting laser designs to videos. Many of the best effects (including the videos) are pprojected onto a vertical sheet of spray.
It's quite breath-taking and reminded me of light shows at some rock Concerts I've attended. In the absence of Pink Floyd, though, the musical accompaniment ranges from classical, through Indian pop to Bollywood and it all adds together to a very exciting half an hour or so of entertainment.
And it's entirely free!

This is located in a peaceful area which is not conjusted with city traffic. It has spaceous central hall and a large surrounding area for waiting for Darshan and Prayer. The hall is big.Prasad is served free.I had seen Eskon temple at Mumbai this summer only. There hall is small but wall exhibition of relegeous pictures were more meaningful as compared to here at Chandigarh.Parking is no problem and cleanliness is well maintained.
