Had lunch there after visiting the ancient theatre of Epidaurus.
The owner was very attentive and hospitable. Professional staff.
He prepared for us a variety of appetizers, fish and sea food, all fresh, and every dish was outstanding.
I highly recommend.
One suggestion..check first as credit cards were not accepted. That could create some inconvenience.

Sampled a good number of Tolon restaurants over a couple of weeks and this one has probably the best prepared food. Moreover it offers a bit more variety from the standard menu in many of the other local restaurants, Also an ebullient host. Located opposite...Morethank you

As an ice cream lover, I can only recommend Koustenis. First of all, because their ice cream is very good (the best in town according to local people, but I must admit I didn't try every ice cream shop in town :-) ). But we were also very kindly welcomed by Kiki who runs this shop with her sons. Her family is in the ice cream business for several generations, and we hope they will be for generations to come.

Delicious desserts. Excellent customer service! Staff was quick and dedicated. Have dinner in the nearby restaurants and leave some room for this unique experience.

Taverna Akrogiali Tolo is the oldest family-run taverna in Tolo dating back to 1955. Click here to see more about the Akrogiali family and the history of the taverna Taste our seafood, meat dishes and traditional Greek cuisine at prices to suit all pockets. The perfect combination of Greek food and sun & sea.
There are great restaurants and there is great food. It is a matter of perception and Akrogiali is one of my favourite spots anywhere in the world. Why? The food is fabulous.... fresh seafood, perfectly cooked. The setting is sublime - a table on the sand with the blue water lapping on the shore a few feet away. The fried veges, prawns, mussels, fish, everything.... is just fabulous. We have been coming here annually for years and will continue to do so; not just once but everyday for lunch for our whole stay. It is that good. It is our piece of paradise!

We went to this tavern after a recommendation from our hotel manager in the first evening after we arrived from a long driving day...WE WERE AMAZED...great location, our table was at 1 meter from the sea...the food was excellent and the greek wine was exactly what we needed.
During our stay in Tolon, almost every day we made reservation at this tavern for dinner.

We ate as a large group. The place was given a big build up. Food was ok, avoid the home-made white wine. Some thought the red wine ok. Had to be careful with the meat dish, lots if small sharp bones. All-in-all - ok.

We noticed bright lights outside this restaurant, on a cold dark night - we were won over.Inside we received a good welcome, and found a warm, comfortable place with a good open fire.Excellent three courses for the four of us, three 50cl house wine, and we paid about 50 euro. A very good evening!

Amazing location and food! Can highly recommend the kleftico and the prawn saganaki. We have young children so ate quite early and never struggled to get a table- but if you eat later you definitely need to book as always packed! We have come back numerous times over our two week trip and we can't fault it!
