We have had a nice 5 course autumn dinner, in order:
salmon: smoked salmon. Nice chunk of salmon with good verveine lemon sauce.
sole filet: the sole was nicely prepared, but a bit on the small side
guinea fowl: a bit undercooked, but also nicely accompanied with some trompettes de la mort
veal: two nice pieces
hangop: really well prepared, accompanied by some interpreations of berries
For tea they prepared us a nice verveine tea, with ready fresh leaves.

On a long drive across the Netherlands and Germany, we wanted to eat something other than motorway food. We found this restaurant right before the border to Germany, in Oldenzaal.
The kitchen hadn't opened when we arrived, but they took pity on us, and made us pancakes anyway. We chose pancakes with bacon, and they were delicious!
This was such a family-friendly restaurant that the high chairs came with bibs, and there was an excellent fenced-in play area with trampolines. The children's pancakes also came with a toy.
I warmly recommend this restaurant.

We were hiking through the very beautiful scenery surrounding this place when we decided to stretch our legs on the Terrace. The view was breathtaking and the dishes truly delicious. We couldn't resist having a small glass of Champagne before continuing on our journey, so festive was the occasion. We haven't seen the rooms, but this is definitely a place that we intend to come back to and spend more time at. It's a beautiful walk from Oldenzaal train station to this hotel and it doesn't take much more than 10 minutes.

I wouldn't class this as a restaurant but more a fantastic bar, serving some quality drinks. Lovely to sit on the Terrace in the Groote Markt watching the world go by. Inside looked lovely and i expect to return to sample its delights again soon.

I've been in this Greek restaurant together with my friends. They are locals and they took me there for some good food. It was how they have promised. The menu of the day was really delicious. I've received 3 kinds of meat with chips and salad. I've attached the picture of it ... but the photo doesn't show the taste of the food. It taste very very good - much better then you can image from the picture.
I can surly recommend you this restaurant.

The little cozy restaurant does not really have a nice view. Because it has the view on the back of the Hema store. You look at the illuminated advertising of the company. But did we find this disturbing, no. Because everything faded as soon as you taste the food. The chef has mastered playing with delicious flavors. The appetizer of salad, honey and goat cheese was really blissful. The main course, a vegetable lasagna was superb. If you want to have a nice glass of house wine or a special beer here it does not matter, the waiter makes sure everything goes smoothly. A delicious cup of coffee, with a bonbon, makes an great diner complete. We will be back :)

First visit to a Bistro for me. Had a 3 course menu, not quite sure what my starter was but was a soft small cut of pork in breadcrumbs served on a salad, followed by Duck and vegetables in a very tasty red wine gravy, finished off with the classic Creme Brulee.
The main course was the best, beautifully cooked.
Very busy Saturday night and a nice atmosphere.

We cycled into Oldenzaal not expecting too much, but were surprised to find a lively town square full of restaurants and bars. We went to Tante Annies Tapas and had six small meals between two of us. The food was tasty and well cooked and the staff were attentive and helpful. Recommended.

Good location, and very friendly service. My colleague and I arrived 8:50pm 10 mins before the kitchen was due to close, so the waitress politely informed us we didn't have too much time. We both order a steak, one well done one medium. The only problem was the were served the wrong way round. Which meant we both didn't quite get what we wanted, which was a shame as everything else was good.
