I was there with my friends during our one-day trip to Austria. Searching for a place to eat we were forced to enter this restaurant because all places on open air were just occupied. Once we entered, we were never sorry for having done that. The place was very smart and clean and the stuff was more then kind a very helpful, as we didn't speak the language. We chose food from the daily menu - a soup, a main course and a desert. The soup was very tasty and the main dish - lamb ragù with dumplings and red wine sauce was just delicious. We were a bit perplexed with a strawberry tiramisù as some of us are italien - well, it shouldn't be called tiramisù but it was so good that I would ordered that again. The place is right on the square with some seats on open air and lots of place inside. There is also a car park on the square. I really would like to thank to the staff for not just very good food but also very nice reception. We are planning to go back to that part to see the Castles we didn't have time to visit but surely we will eat again in this restaurant. Regarding the prices - the day menu we had cost € 13, ordering from the normal menu - a soup, a main dish and a desert would be approximately € 20 plus drink.

Great food, nice service, pleasant environment. Outdoor Seating in front and in the back yeard. The food is not cheap but all we had was very good. One of the backhandel we had in a long time

.... C. Velenice e até a cidade de Gmünd, do outro lado da fronteira, não são exatamente centros da culinária internacional. Eis que surprende o restaurante Viethouse - de cozinha vietnamita - chinese, como já sugere o nome.
Comida boa asiática de gosto já bastante européu, mas com um cardápio bem completo e um serviço impecável.
Um bom WIFI e preços justos completam o prazer de um bom almoço em C. Velenice.

Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden, haben gut gegessen und sind sehr nett und freundlich umsorgt worden.
Lobend zu erwähnen ist der extra Ein- und Ausgang in den Nichtraucher-Wintergarten, der uns Nichtrauchern den Gang mit angehaltenem Atem durch den Raucherbereich an der Bar erspart.
Abschließend: wir würden wiederkommen, wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind.

In a beautiful, attractive tourist Terezino valley is worth stopping for lunch or dinner at the Pension. The rustically furnished inside of the restaurant, sheltered garden with a play area for children, near the rustle creek Stropnice. Very attractive offer daily meals with local specialties - mushroom cuttings, blueberry dumplings or carp with garlic... Very friendly staff, incredibly large serving dishes, dessert of apple strudel in the form of a bonus. Mentioned carp was so delicious that we had to visit again. Ideal for snack in the middle of nature trails through the valley.

Que padaria boa, com montes de delícias locais a base de papoula e nozes. Bom café também. Num dia de sol, sentar nas cadeiras na praça histórica é simplesmente demais :-)
Tem boas saladas e outros snacks para viagem tb, ótimo neste país onde o fim de semana todo comércio fica fechado.

Penzion Marie is a guesthouse and restaurant in the ancient fortified village of Zumberk, near the town of Trhove Sviny and the village of Zar. For a genuine taste of local cuisine, excellent service and reasonable prices - not to mention one of the best chefs in the country in the kitchen - this country locale can not be beaten. The Terrace provides plenty of Sunshine in summer and in winter, there is a cosy fireplace indoors. Penzion Marie is on the Cyclotourist route and a favourite haunt of cyclists of all ages. Zumberk brews its own beer.

U pana Duška jsme byli 3x na obědě během naší dovolené v městečku Nové Hrady. Vaří vynikající jídlo, vypilované recepty ze své 40.leté zkušenosti v ČR i zahraničí. Vyšel mi vstříc (např. udělal skvělé burito bez masa). Jedla jsem zde svůj nejlepší smažený hermelín v životě (naservírované se salátkem, brusinkami a rozmarýnovými brambory). Manželovi moc chutnal domácí burger, prý je dokonalý. Velmi dobré ceny, polední menu, domácí poctivé polévky. V tomto městečku je tato hospůdka jako zjevení. Dětský koutek, velmi útulné. Nachází se cca 1 minutu chůze od hotelu Rezidence. Doporučuji.

Pizzerii jsme navštívili s dcerou, dali jsme si šunkovou pizzu capricciosa, která byla úplně jiná než na co jsme zvyklí (cibule, slanina, chilli) z jiných pizzerii, vlastně to byla jen šunková pizza, nic více nic méně. Jestli je to takto správně nevím, vybírali jsme podle surovin, nikoliv podle názvu, takže jsme byli spokojeni.
V restauraci mají také těstoviny, ale v jídelním lístku mají napsáno, že od 14 - 18 je nedělají, zvláštní :-)
