We recently had dinner in this superb restaurant.
We were welcomed by the friendly staff and seated at our table. We had chosen the five course 'menu gastronomique' and kicked off with some excellent amuses. This was followed by a tartare, codfish and smoked eel, Mul with shrimps, mango and couscous, Duck with goose liver and pumpkin and finally babana with chocolate and salted macadamia. All these dishes looked like pictures perfect and tasted heavenly.
From the impressive winelist we chose a wide selection of wines, some also recommended by the maitre. Prices of the wines are by the way quite impressive as well, but we 'managed' to pick excellent bottles in the region of € 60,00/70,00 per bottle. Their water supply was hefty, we could also easily trace back on our final bill. However, having said that, it was worth it.
Heavenly food, nice place, comfy seats, good vibe, great staff and hands on maitre D slash sommelier all resulted in a great evening. This place truly deserves its star, including the high rankin the the 'Lekker' restaurant guide.

Eetlokaal Klinkers restaurant is located in Oosterhout centre close to the impressive tower of the St-jans Basilica AD 1493. Furnishings and decoration provide a brasserie-café atmosphere. The food is much better than the name ‘Eetlokaal’ indicates. Service is adequate and friendly. Traditional cuisine defines its...MoreDear Mrs Piket, thank you so much for your kind review. Attention to flavour and the wine-food combination is what characterises Restaurant Taste!. The wines for the dishes are chosen based on the menu. Sommelier Kees Verlaan makes refreshing choices ensuring that food and wine complement each other perfectly He is also happy to personally provide insight into his choice at your table.
One of the best restaurants in Tilburg. Very reasonably priced and high quality, the specials can be very good indeed. This restaurant is definately the best thing about the Mercure Hotel.

Last night I ate at Sarban, as I needed to find a halal and organic restaurant to suit the needs of our diverse group of friends. We ended up spending a wonderful 3 hours in Sarban, being introduced to the Afghan cuisine. We took the 'introduction meal', which meant that we got served small portions of approx. 60-70% of the total menu. All the food was super tasty and was seasoned to perfection! Not a single bread crumb was returned to the kitchen. We really enjoyed the experience, would definitely recommend!!

Oonivoo. Born from our passion for wine, riped to a gastronomic adventure. Chef Thijs Berkers and his team cooks using only the best ingredients, while sommelier Sven Heijkoop is always looking for the best wine/spice combinations.
We are frequent visitors to The Raadhuis in Uden. This was our 8th visit in four years. After it's take over by another headchef last year inity they struggled a bit but after last week we are totally hooked on Raadhuis again. We choose the excellent value for money special menu. 55 euros each including accompanying wines (but excluding water 6 euros a liter, fizzy or flat).
Each course was made to perfection, very tastefull and the wines complemented the food really good. Dining a la carte is also possible but generally more expensive (15 euro starters, 30 euro main course) they also host a good "market menu" for a fair price of 40 or 50 euros depending on the amount of courses you select. Also a good atmosphere, very friendly host who we also heard helping other guests in fluent english.

What a gem, and was alone worth the trip to visit Den Bosch! The two of us had lunch in this packed, charming restaurant in the heart of the city. Service was impeccable and plates were creative. There was not a question regarding wines, food or preparation that was not answered well. If this place were close to home, I would instantly become a regular. Highly recommend.

We visited here on the strength of other reviews and weren’t disappointed. Had no previous experience of Afghan food, but if it’s generally like this it must be fantastic. We had the introductory menu, and everything was fresh, beautifully cooked and presented, with clear explanations of what we were eating. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.

We recently visited this restaurant with friends and we had a great evening. The staff is young, very friendly and of course experienced. They really do everything to make your visit a surprise. And then the food: it was just delicious. The chef of this restaurant is still young, but his way of cooking is amazing. If you have the 6-course-menu, you might get the 'blind dish'. That's another experience. The prices of the food and wines are very reasonable. For sure we will come back and honestly we think the first Michelin-star is not far away. Keep on doing this great job.
