Hello,
we were for a lunch in the Hotel Sebastian. I have to warn you people (attaching photos as a proof) that if you try this place, it will be your most horrifying experience of your life. We were served some strange soup ("Frankfurter") that looked like some dishwasher waste and tasted just about the same. As one would expect the bread tha it came with was old and dried out as if it was sitting sliced on the sun at least a couple of hourse. The main dish was a chicken fillet with a peach and slice of cheese over it -- typical slovak post-communism pseudo-delicatesse. Some cooks stil think it belongs to a menu but what you can do. I gave it a shoot, and received something partially raw with a strange piece of fruit on it. The greens on the plate were the most disgusting piece of vegetable I ever tried to eat. Please refer to the photos (there was a hair in the plate as well but this is to me a minor detail considering the quality of the food as such). Avoid this place at all costs!

Looks simple from the outside ... inside you'll find a very cosy atmosphere, with a brick-vaulted ceiling. The service was impeccable, from both the ladies serving today - so friendly, so attentive, so helpful and kind. ... as for the food - starter of bean and sausage soup, main course of salmon steak with roasted veg side order, and dessert of pannacotta - my wife thinks these are all simple to make, but, MY, did the chef do a fab job tonight. ... don't know if I was particularly hungry tonight - but, for me, all three courses for me made it the second best meal I remember having ...in my life! ie taking the service, ambience, and food all together. Well done, Restauracia Ludvik and staff!

Restaurant with local modern cuisine, fresh products strongly working with slovak and international wines selection is more than 550 different wines.
Very poor level of service , after 2 very important bottles ordered ( Sassicaia and ornelaia ) we were waiting the starters , 4 pumpkins plate ordered all of them arrived in different shape and in the plate all of them were completely different plates , 2 foie gras as a starter arrive not cooked , we ask the chafe to come and he refuse saying that this is they he cook and anyhow we should pay our plates ! Never happen before to receive such service, we were thinking this place is different and unfortunately this was the confirmation of poor level of service available .
Very disappoint , never back again and sure not to recommend

To a great historical Hotel Majolika inherently belongs an amazing restaurant Landsfeld, offering an unforgettable culinary experience. Stylish Restaurant Landsfeld will stick in your mind thanks to its unusual atmosphere, which is created by the spirit of its historical premises. This will, together with an elegant Seating, provide you a great gourmet experience. Premises were given a traditional touch by authentic and functioning ceramic kiln, and colorful window-panes filled with classic motives of Modra’s ceramics. The kitchen specials together with quality wines from local producers will support the overall delightful experience. All our meals on the menu are prepared with love and passion, supported by our gastronomical concept which originates in food prepared only from fresh ingredients, mainly provided from local bio sources. Our desire is to serve healthy food, without any additional chemical ingredients, colorants or flavorings.

i really enjoy this restaurant and the food they serve. its traditional, the inside of the restaurant is very nice as well. be ready for large tables so it is rather difficult to find a place if there's only 2 of you. i do not mind joining other people at the table even if i dont know them.
the service is fast and welcoming.
i read a bad review up here on halusky, i have had halusky here several times and loved them. i had never managed to eat the full portion before but here they were delicious.
i think its a must go if you are staying in this area or if you hiking

This is a charming restaurant in the heart of Modra. The owner welcomed our party of four adults and four hungry children warmly and graciously. This is a family owned restaurant serving delicious regional foods. The owner was quite helpful, speaking enough English to explain the many choices on the menu. The food deliciously cooked and promptly served. A definite return if we return to the Modra area.

Very nice location just outside the little town of Modra, Biolka restaurant is small inside, but also well-finished and cozy. The have terraces for summer period.
Food was veeeery tasty and Bio, I have been there a Saturday with 3 friends, we had 2 salads to share in 4, a Slovak main dish each and 2 desserts to share again. 3 beers and 1 tonic water for the driver :)
Total bill - 72€

Restaurant Zochova chata is situated in the log section of the hotel. On entering the hotel, you will be enchanted by the dignified style and high standards, from the place setting to the waiting service. The restaurant, with a capacity of 120 seats, is able to host even larger groups, or can be divided by sliding partitions to discreet corners. The fireplace contributes to the cosy atmosphere during the winter months. In summer, the outdoor Terrace invites you to spend pleasant moments directly under the old beech trees.
I visited a lot of restaurants in Bratislava and around but Zochova chata is one of the best very nice place around - many trees and it is very nice view for Your soul. Food was very good and so expensiv. But it is Quite far from Bratislava cca 25 km.
