Pietrasanta is a town and comune on the coast of northern Tuscany in Italy, in the province of Lucca. Pietrasanta is part of Versilia, on the last foothills of the Apuan Alps, about 32 kilometres (20 mi) north of Pisa. The town is located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) off the coast (where the frazione of Marina di Pietrasanta is located).

I will keep this one short and sweet: Lorenzo overwhelmed us with flavors and set new bar for any restaurant to surpass.
We tasted so many different dishes I seriously lost track but I would still strongly suggest you try their signature seafood pasta (bavette sul pesce) and the bollito misto di pesce: they will floor you!
If you still have room for dessert, you can dive into their 3-chocolate soufflé, otherwise let them suggest a bite or two from the cheese cart (the scoppolato is to die for).
I will not comment on the wine list: it is just too amazing for me to do it any justice.
You just cannot miss the experience if you're ever in the area.

Had higher expectations for this seafood restaurant. Had the 7 course tasting meny and wine flight. Food was nothing special, maybe that is just me enjoying Norwegian seafood more than Tuscany seafood tho...
Most disappointing was the wine flight. They have a 100 pages (!) wine list, in my honest opinion they should be able to create better food-wine pairing.

The Ristorante-Enoteca ALEX at Marina di Pietrasanta tastefully interprets both food and hospitality while privileging new flavours; all in perfect harmony with its surroundings. A culinary oasis just a few meters from the beach, its recognised quality has also been entered and listed in the most esclusive international Guides and Magazines. The restaurant-wine bar is personally managed by its proprietor, Alessandro Tognetti.
For the trendy and obviously rich. Food is ok, but grossly overpriced. Are you for a 18€ for first course, 24 for main dish.. Well cooked and presented but nothing to die for..Your choice!

If you're looking for gourmet cuisine, eating in an outside patio adorned with lemon trees, tomatoes and other mediterrenean herbs, this is the place for you.
Despite the possibility of picking á la carte, I would definitely recommend choosing the daily Chef proposal which, at a price of 35€, offers many dishes, all prepared with the mastery of an experienced chef, at a very affordable price.
All the staff is extremely corteous and helpful in explaining the composition of the dishes offered.

We had booked 1 week in advance to be seated on the rooftop terrazza. Staying inside with the heat off the large wood fired oven is impossible. The pizza was good and service fast and polite. But given the location and reputation of this restaurant is was incredibly good value.

Large pizza which you can see being made in the area behind the counter. Many choices fairly quick service.Nothing to dislike.

Not bad if you want a simple bite, but 4-4,5 euros for a filled focaccia is a little overpriced, even for the versilia. Similarly, you get small bottle water and plastic glasses...can we challenge the use and throw practice that ruin our seas? Service is kind and fast, although it feels like an underpaid summer job or some thing..

The restaurant was busy, all pavement Terrace tables taken but there was room inside. Very fish based menu but lots of choice. Service was fine. We both had seafood and pasta dishes which were very tasty, with inevitable fight to extract mussels and prawns. Nice profiteroles to round it off. Perfectly acceptable (and cheap) house red and beer. Good value at less than E40 for the two of us.

This is quite an unassuming little place in the town, but well worth a visit for lunch. It has odd opening hours, so get there before 2pm. They have lots of deli items and an excellent selection of European beers, but the real treat is the Italian fish and chips, which is battered squid and shrimps for €8. It is served in a charming cone, and it's great fun digging for crispy bits of fish. This place is perfect for lunch in a break from the beach - lovely staff too.

We enjoyed dinner at Blanco and loved the atmosphere and sophisticated vibe. It was lovely sitting on the Terrace on a warm September evening. The meal started off brilliantly - the ravioli and "deconstructed" lasagna dishes were outstanding. Our main course filet of beef was...MoreDear Sir thank you very much for your opinion that for us it is very important to try to improve our services. Excuse me for the cake: next time I will present you free of charge. My best regards Paola
