This is one of the very few places in Alleppey which serve only pure veg food. Ordered plain Dosa and Porotta set which was yummy and delicious

WOW. Chappatis and parathas for less than 10 rupees; delicious authentic curries for between 100 and 200 rupees; cheap non-instant coffee... We went to this place several times during our stay in Alleppey. It's simple and canteen-like in atmosphere, though we were grateful for the unbelievable prices and fast service.

It was a dream to have a lovely restaurant at the beach for people to enjoy and chill . We are doing all our best to keep our dream come true.
The location is a bit awkward as it is for all the beach restaurants in Alleppey nearby since a new elevated highway is build next to the beach (what a stupid idea!) and everything looks like a construction site and the area looks very unstructured despite the nice beach.
Sitting upstairs in the restaurant itself is nice, it gets busy though. Waiting times are rather long for the food, but prices were generally okay. I have to say the vegetarian North Indian food we ordered was of supreme quality and the best we had in town. Therefore we visited multiple times.

Situated on the NH 47, 500 meters from Cherthala bypass junction towards the Alleppey side, Opposite the Indian oil petrol pump and the Indian Coffe house. Apsara serves Breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is closed on Sundays. The Kerala meals served for lunch is my personal favourite, it goes best with Fish fry and fish curry. Duck is another of their specialty. They also serve Chinese dishes. The place is average in ambiance and sophistication, but excellent in cleanliness, taste and service. They have boards of social obligations reminding people against the wasting food. Been a regular there for many years now, and they have been consistant.

Build like traditional kerala style architecture with a royal look located on the sides of NH66. Awesome ambience! the food served was really quick(I ordered for Butter Nan/Porata, Prawns masala, Paneer butter masala and Chicken lolipop).Very reasonably priced. The food was tasty and delicious. A spacious fully ac restaurant with Ample car parking space inside their compound. The restaurant is following OPEN KITCHEN POLICY-(we can see the kitchen)-All of the chopping and assembling of food takes place in full view of customers (behind glass), purposefully the sounds, the smells, and the sights of cooking can really help you work up an appetite! Please note high hygienic standard is maintained. Feel is superb.Very Highly recommended.

After walking for 20 minutes with our 2 year old son, we ended up at the Flamingos fence, off the main road. We had read the trip advisor reviews so we're intrigued to see what it was it was like for lunch. We entered and were asked to sit in reception whilst someone came over to talk to us. Turns on the whole place was booked out by a family so they couldn't accommodate anyone for lunch / dinner. Apparently this happens a lot as it only has two rooms so it tends to be privately rented by families. I wish someone had told us to contact them to book in advance to save us the long trip.
The gentleman who runs it was really lovely though and showed us round and booked us a taxi back to our hotel (but he had recommended other places close by also - it was our choice to go back to the hotel). He mentioned it was worth booking in advance as it is usually booked up. So that's our feedback for anyone else looking to eat there. From what we saw it's a beautiful place and worth a visit.
We could only rate it 3/5 as we didn't eat there but it did look nice. Staff were really helpful too.

Lovely little restaurant in the middle of a palm grove, on the shore of beautiful Marari Beach. We serve delicious Indian homely foods especially seafood,Fresh Juices etc. Very friendly and helpful staffs. All the foods are cooked by the mother of the owner,
One of the rare restaurants on the beach front that takes walk-ins for dinner (we were rejected by several that only take advance orders). This place is heavenly, facing the sea, and sheltered by short, beautiful coconut trees. The food was wholesome and tasty (and quite mild). We loved the white prawns, the fried "small fish" and the tomato curry. The rotis and veg curry are average but homely and freshly made. We found the pancakes to be quite thick and dough and probably too much food for two people - better to share in a group. We would definitely go back for the seafood dishes as they are so fresh and lovely. Kiran was super friendly and helpful. I appreciate the fact that the staff recommend dishes that they believe are good and don't just try to sell the expensive ones. Thanks for a lovely candlelit dinner!
