Our cruise ship stopped in Topolobambo and we were driven by coach to the main city, Los Mochis. This restaurant was really exceptional .
I attended a business dinner with a large group including an officer of our company. We were sat in a private dining room at the back of the restaurant.
We ordered several sampler appetizers which included ceviche, tuna, camerones, octopus and other various seafood varieties. We also had grilled vegetables and salads. By the time dinner was ordered I had already eaten too much. I then ordered an entree of camerones diablo.
The food was very good and the service was excellent. Although I cannot estimate if the service was typical as we were clearly given special service.
I would like to go again when I could order an entree without having already eaten too much. I would recommend eating here.

El Leñador Restaurant offers a great tasting menu to its customers, depending on their varied tastes. From Mexican Food to Steaks to Burgers, everything looks really delicious.
My wife and I decided to go here based on reviews in the Lonely Planet. The restaurant serves classic Mexican dishes plus burgers. My wife selected the chicken fajitas and I went for the Mexicana burger. The fajitas were very well done with just the right amount of spice. The burger was fantastic with salsa, guacamole and fresh salad. After this we asked if there was anything sweet on the menu. After some broken Spanish they produced an excellent guava cheesecake and a creme caramel that was a bit too much ( I.e. A smaller portion would have worked better). Overall it was a great lunch with friendly service and good way to beat the Los Mochis heat for a couple of hours

I have been coming to Los Mochis almost two years and never came in till tonight. It is a small restaurant with indoor and outdoor Seating. We had the appetizer crab fillong with tempura and was great. Also my girlfriend had the sushi roll gastric and I had the niguri tuna and yakameshi. All was good except the yakameshi it was a little on the salty side but edible. Service was great and hada good staff. We had beer and wine which they have more than enough and more than any other sushi places.

This is one restaurant that no many people in the city mentions as a reference, THEY SHOULD! The meat comes from Sonora state, the source of the best beef in Mexico. You can ask your ribs, fillet, anything, rare, and the waiter is trained to finish the cooking beside your table depending on what anybody wish: medium, medium well… Juicy and tender beef. And the beans and appetizers are terrific. Ask for the Ruricas!

To be honest I have only tried three things multiple times in this place: empanadas de pina, uvola and their cheesecake. I know they sell other things there but I am pretty sure most people that go there go for those three things. Everyone who lives in Los Mochis has at least heard of this place. I believe it has been remodelled several times in the last 30 or 40 years of existence.

OWEN'S STEAKHOUSE is for tradition the house of the cuts in the city of The Mochis, the Mexican and international kitchen that we offer is an important part of his experience of trip, our wide variety of meat and Mar's fresh seafood of Polite form the perfect complement. We like to interpret the culinary tradition of exquisite form taking advantage to the maximum of the flavors of our condition to offer to our retainers a delicious and extraordinary place to coexist, our bases: contrast, difference, tradition, quality and exquisiteness
Whilst not a five star establishment, the decor is pleasant the service was very good.
The food was ok and there was plenty to eat. For the cost it was value for money- chicken enchiladas were a bit dry and the steak was cooked to our request, although not
the tenderness we've ever had.

This place has a very interesting menu with dishes that are like my grandmother used to make. Prices are fair, service is always good.

Passing through Los Mochis on our motorbikes, we wanted a quiet restaurant to relax in and dine before the ferry to Baja. This place was perfect. Beautiful patio playing soulful, relaxing music, great service and tasty food. It's tucked in a bit off the Main...MoreThank you, we hope you'll come back and visit us soon! Regards

I was here with friends for business to close a marvellous association. I was totally surprised by the concept of this restaurant. Definitely not the usual Japanese food in Mexico, where they commonly offer adapted dishes to the Mexican likes and tastes.
The fusion of flavours and the look of the dishes are something to mention in a high cuisine book, not to mention the flavour itself and the new mixes of Japanese tradition and other countries in the proposed menu of sushi rolls and entrees.
The atmosphere is nice and adequate, nothing glamourous about it and the service is gentle and very relaxed.
You will feel blessed by the taste of the Curry rolls, and the creamy Yakimeshi, which is amazing.
Nothing traditional in Japan, but capable of making it a tradition to Mexicans.
KAMPAIII!

I stayed next door at the Ibis and decided to try out the breakfast. I really enjoyed it and have an extensive breakfast menu. I had the eggs bennidict with chiptole sauce and was very good. I have to go back for the eggs bennidict with salmon sounds good. The only thing the eggs were not on the spot but passed well.
