This restaurant is based in an 18th century refurbished house that has a garden and a swimming pool. Diners can enjoy traditional Mallorcan cooking from its tasting menu of five dishes, which vary every day. There is no menu, but there are options for vegetarians, celiacs or dairy-free dishes. Special menus can be arranged for groups. The restaurant can seat up to 80 diners inside and 100 outside in the garden in the summer. Its wine list is selective but good value.
A very lovely, special, authentic venue serving a substantial 5 course tasting menu.
Slightly eccentric too, when we were there (a Thursday evening in June) the chef was also looking after his grandchildren and doing DIY, and our excellent waitress disappeared.
If you're staying in or near lloseta, this isn't to be missed.
We marked it down by 1 star because the food although interesting didn't excite much, and we weren't asked how we looked our steak which could be a challenge to some.
Would we return? Yes.

Like many Americans the concept of the three hour lunch has eluded me. What do I do with the two hours and forty five minutes after I wolf down my cheeseburger, I thought, confused? After my recent lunch at Santi Taura, I'm beginning to understand.
Lunch at Santi Taura is a glorious affair. The restaurant is set on a quiet street in the sleepy town of Lloseta. The restaurant seats 10 tables, all of which were full on the day we visited. In my typically American fashion, wondered if they had forgotten us when 10 minutes into our lunch we hadn't seen our waiter or som. No it's just that the three hour lunch means adding space to breathe, to relax, to savor.
First on the bill was warm, crunchy bread served with locally pressed olive oil, local olives and two small amuse(s)...a fish croquette and an eggplant mousse. Both excellent. Cover zucchini with bechamel and even the most ardent vegetable hater would be convinced. Pork belly with sundried tomatoes and arugala may have been one of the best things I've ever eaten. Squid, chicken and pork dishes followed in quick succession, all great. If you have time, I would highly recommend the optional cheese course. Its an extra 20 minutes, but, really, where do you have to be? Dessert didn't disappoint. Local peaches in a cobbler garnished with almond paste.
Oh and the wine, we started with a fruity Mejorcan rose recommended by the som, called 2012. I'm sad that I can't find it in the states, I'd buy a case. Served cold, it perfectly took us away from the heat of the day and complemented the food wonderfully. Wanting to push my luck, I asked for a red to go with the heavier courses. My wife looked askance when I suggested it but, the som offered me just a glass and I couldn't say no. Supernova, another local wine of 100% Montenegro, was soft, with well integrated tannins and balanced fruit. Delicious and, again, impossible to find in the states.
The bill arrived and, I kid you not, the cost for all this amazing food was 40 euros each and an additional 16 euros for the cheese course. Wine was 22 euros for the rose and 5 euros for our two glasses of Supernova. In the states, I'd have pay twice as much for half the quality.
We sat back in our chairs and glanced at our phones, 5 pm...three hours had elapsed and we felt full, comfortable and happy. I'm not sure I could do this every day but, it should would be fun to try. Don't miss Santi Taura, it's a treat.

Lovely little restaurant in the Centre of Inca opposite Santander bank. The food is excellent and really different. I had foie grad with caramelized apples, beautifully presented goats cheese salad with figs. The list goes on. It's a relaxed place good for lunch or dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend. Well done we need more places like this in the centre of the island..

Stopped here for lunch in the middle of an unexpected rainy day. They had some lunch meal options which were very well priced and prepared very quickly as we observed at other tables. We actually wanted something from the standard dinner menu. We were advised it would take longer, which was fine because we were not in a rush. IMHO, the food still came out quickly and was perfect. Great service just made it even better.

Opened since 1931, the Bar Bestard search the satisfaction of their clients, elaborating Majorcan products and serving the best coffees and "Tapas & Variados". In the mornings, we have a great variety of products to lunch, from pies of "mendritxo", up to empanadas and cocarrois elaborated by us. In addition we offer tapas and variados for the breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every Thursday we offer a dish of the day. A starter + choose between paella or typical Majorcan dish and water, wine or soda for 5,5 €. On Friday and Saturdays night, we offer Pizzas elaborated in stone oven, hamburgers, Sandwich and salads.
We visited this place many times during our stay in lloseta. The staff were so lovely and welcoming even down to remembering what wine we had ordered the night before!! We also ate here a couple of nights and the food was great!! This is a typical Spanish local which I will look forward to returning to soon!! Thank you!!

During a recent stay in Lloseta we had dinner in Restaurante Tomeu Lassion on two evenings - we enjoyed our first meal so much we just had to go back! As other reviewers have noted there is a 5/6 course fixed tasting menu (explained in detail at the start of the meal by the Chef/Proprietor and then on a course-by-course basis by the waiter). This menu must be frequently changed, because on our second visit (only a few days after our first) the menu was completely different.
The wine list offered a more than adequate choice for most tastes and pockets.
We just wished that we lived near to LLoseta, because, if we did, we would be very frequent visitors to this restaurant.

We went Sunday lunch time and was lucky to get a seat. The waiter was very friendly and the food was lovely. Obviously a place for the locals to meet up with family and friends.
