absolutely stunning restaurant. From june 2012 also Guesthouse
We had 2 meals at this restaurant, the first was dinner. What I really remember was the great large fresh crispy salad! We also enjoyed the thin crust pizza. I found the service and servers serious and not overly friendly, but the good food made up for it.

Eat authentic Zambian and African food with the locals, enjoy Caribbean food including Jerk Chicken and Caribbean goat curry. Try our wood-fire pizza, gourmet burgers and extensive vegetarian options including our eggplant and haloumi burger. Get ready for the warm Livingstone hospitality and a good time in our candlelit leafy courtyard. Look out for our traditional dancing nights!! See you there!!
We visited as group of 16 pax. We were well received and service could not be faulted despite the large group. Very friendly and efficient.
Menu has so many options ranging from traditional cuisine to ‘normal’ food.
Portion as mentioned in other reviews are really big. We from ZAR and know for big appetites. Almost no one could finish their food. Maybe not so well presented and varied reviews re taste but all in all good experience at a local restaurant.
Live Jazz musos was great touch.

We wanted seafood but wasn’t sure as Zambia is landlocked. Hotel staff recommended Ocean Basket. We had a taxis to take us there and back for $10.
We were not disappointed. The starter calamari was very sweet. The big prawn 12 for 350K(&35) was fresh and succulent. The fish was ok, and I had a bottle of white wine and juice for my wife,
Total bill was $60! Back home the wine alone will set me back by that amount.
You could spend less if you order the platter. See my photos

We wanted a change so six of us jumped in a taxi and came to this restaurant. The food was excellent and the curry i had was for me quite hot but it was truly delicious. With an array of drinks and the food the bill was remarkably low.
The staff at the restaurant were extremely good and deserved the pooled tip we left at the end. A great evening was had by all.

Kubu Cafe serve a good assortment of cafe food, fine coffees, brunches & lunches, cakes and snacks, and delicious dinners. We are fully liscensed to sell alcohol.
We stopped here for food. The waitress was a lovely lady, very friendly and service minded. We both ordered steaks. I had to return mine because it was ordered medium done and it got served as being as done as can be done. Since the fries that came along tasted as being fried in somewhat old oil I decided not take the lady up on her offer to get me a new one.
My brothers steak was about 1/3 fat that had to be cut off.
This is a nice place to have a drink with friendly staff, but the food was disappointing.

Anita and Trevor are the most wonderful hosts, it's a lovely family run place with hard working staff and a great atmosphere. Food is excellent and drinks are cheap. Location is great as it's very close to the waterfront and other good accommodation. We went for a hen party which was great fun and excellent food. We will be back for dinner soon. Thanks very much Anita and Trevor! Rosie & Cynthia

This is probably the best restaurant in Livingstone. For us sure it is. We were quite a big group and they were able to manage big table for us immediately. Food was delicious. I definitely recommend grilled fish from the river combined with traditional zambian vegetable mix. People from our group had many different dishes and everything was very tasty and look sooo good. Also pizza and home made pasta were maybe better than in Italy :) The owner is Italian. He also prepares home made icecream and it is real rich italian gelato, super yuammi :) Stefano and his zambian wife Claire are super friendly and kind people. They run this restaurant excellently. Also the prices of food and drinks are reasonable. In the evening was traditional show with life music and dancer. Highly recommend this place with nice atmosphere. We definitely come back.

We visited Livingstone in December 2016 and booked most of our activities via Jollyboys. The process was excellent, and the packages offered were often the best priced. They were quick to respond to e-mails, and very efficient in getting in touch with the providers for any special requests that we had.

Fine dining aboard a classic steam locomotive promises an iconic journey, with a choice of breathtaking railway passes. Relive the bygone era of Victorian elegance. Relax with exceptional service. Capture memories of Africa’s rugged landscapes. Pair your taste for true adventure with an impeccable six-course dinner, expertly crafted by Anantara chefs, served with wines, beers and soft drinks.
We really enjoyed sitting in the well preserved carriages enjoying the attentive service from the staff. Wine, beer and gin is included in the price and the drinks flowed freely. In our case the food was in the form of canapés (at the request of a powerful holiday company) but the price was therefore reduced. The food is provided by the Victoria Falls Hotel. The train doesn't go far, apart from to the bridge, where you get out and stretch your legs and enjoy the view but we had great fun.
