Lavagna is a tourist port city in the curving stretch of the Italian Riviera di Levante, called the Gulf of Tigullio, in the Metropolitan City of Genoa in Liguria. The borgo of Lavagna was an important Ligurian cultural center in the Middle Ages. Today its long straight beach is a summer resort.

This is in our opinion the best HOME-MADE pasta shop in this area (Chiavari, Lavagna, Sestri Levante). You can buy here excellent ravioli, tortellini, trofie - the typical Ligurian pasta - and delicious "sughi"( = pasta sauces) from the characteristic "pesto" (the basil and garlic sugo) to the unsurpassed seafood sauce which will be a treat served with 'trofie' for friends coming to dinner. If you come to the area do not miss it!!!
Do also not forget to buy the big 'ravioli verdi' to eat simply with olive oli and grated Parmesan cheese. Mmmmm better than going to a restaurant ..... enjoy!

food was not bad but portion not what u expect from the price..certainly not on the cheaper side though but reasonable vs the area. service was good..it wasn't crowded when we went which was pretty late.
tip: if u do go here..go for the seafood instead of other stuffs.

Situated in the small Chiavari harbor, Dragut offers an elegant and welcoming location with air conditioning and private room. During the summer times one can take advantage of the beautiful and naturally aired veranda . It is ideal for a night out with friends, a candle light or a business dinner.
I went there with my family because a lot of people suggested it to us and I have to say it is an amazing place.
We ate something like ten different types of meat roasted on the spit with sixteen sides and appetisers, everything cooked perfectly. For dessert they gave us roasted pineapple with cinnamon that was simply delicious.
We drank caipirinha, Brazilian beer and caipirinha made with passion fruit that contributed to create a perfect Brazilian atmosphere. Moreover the waiters are really kind and funny and are all from Brazil.
It might seem a little bit expensive but it's really worth it.

I stumbled across this restaurant with a couple of friends with modest expectations and we left the restaurant following an extremely positive experience.
It began from how we were welcomed as we immediately get at home. The chef is also the restaurants fisherman as he goes out every morning to catch the fish he cooks. This is a clear sign of the freshness of the food served at the restaurant. The food from the starters to the main course was sublime, from the sea food platter as a starter to the black lasagne with prawns and the fish gnocchi and finishing with a fish tagliata.
To top it all up they also took us back to the hotel as there were no taxis available.

Simple cuisine based on fresh fish
the variety of antipasto was phenomenal.....the pasta..light and very tasty....the portions were more than adequate..so much so that we were too full to even order "secondi",,,everything is home-made..pastas..breads and the Deserts,,,(try the creme caramel)...service from this family-owned restaurant was exceptional...they take pride in every aspect of running a restaurant
We are from Canada and I guarantee that we will return here before going back home

an amazing view with a great sea food choice and cusine is maybe the best way to spend a sunday lunch. the location is the key point of this restaurant. forniture are new and the the people is nice and warm, but obviously the most important point someone is looking in a restaurant is the food, isn't it? well, it is going to satisfy you for sure.
being on a rock on the sea in front of portofino with sestri levante behind you the main characteristic of this restaurant is fish, cooked in the Liguria style, fresh and flavourful.
definetly a place to try and then keep going.

We have traveled throughout Italy over the past twenty years and have found just a few places with gelato at this level. It is amazingly creamy and tasteful. This is a perfect example of what every gelato stand across Italy should strive for. Try some and you'll agree.

Caters mainly to fish lovers, and the cozze e fagioli (mussels & beans) are always excellent!

It's a journey in the right pleasurable combination of fish dishes, meat if preferred, pasta, special cheese. I went there last week and was really satisfied. Try the raw fish, very fresh; try the specialty of Morone fish; try the home made tortino with vegetables and cheese; try the calamari with peperoni sauce. Don't miss the dessert !!! Wine was great, proposed by the owner, who is a real gentleman and a friendly person. The staff is prepared, smiling and always ready to answer your questions. Price really reasonable. We'll go back there !

Il meglio della cucina indiana in un ambiente accoglientee raffinato
A beautiful setting, great food and helpful English speaking owner made this dining experience delightful. The food was traditional Indian but listed in Italian on the menu. So, we had a bit of difficulty understanding but the owner quickly came to the rescue and walked us through the details. The lamb dish was great.
