We were invited to a birthday party of a family member on this occasion and had the "Bürgermeister" room to ourselves as a party of 20. There was a set menu but the dishes were of a very high standard and the waiting staff tended to our every need. I would highly recommend this restaurant for organizing a large special event.

We had very good food and excellent service. Very good local cuisine and extremely friendly service. Would definitely go again. Don't order the small beer as it is very small and costs nearly as much as A big one.

We sometimes go to this restaurant when we visit family in Lauf. The restaurant is at the egde of a small lake and next to the swimming pools. Service was excellent, the food arrived fairly quickly and everything tasted lovely. Well worth a little detour.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Lauf. The building is very quirky, with lots of little corners and a pretty are for sitting outside, too. It is usually quite busy and food can take a while to arrive. But service is good, and the typical Franconian dishes taste wonderful.

My best meal in Germany to date.
First of all amazing charming service, as soon as we arrived.
Started with bruschetta and antipasti and soup. Perfect.
Then spaghetti all olio, margarita pizza and linguine spaghetti, with the freshest of salads and breads. A bottle of wine and 2 bottles of San pelligrino.
Dessert and coffee- creme Brule flambeau'd at the table, tiramisu, and chocolate fruit cake.
All this for a hundred euro.
Don't miss this. A truly excellent feel good experience for five very tired travellers, after almost a week of Exhibitions.

Best food and service EVER! This is a MUST! We were stuck on the A9 and decided to get a bite to eat. After looking on Google maps we located this quaint restaurant owned by a gentleman and his wife with lovely children. This was the best food I have eaten in forever. ☕

We had lunch here, attracted by the display of yummy things right when you enter. Its a Turkish restaurant with quite a lot of tables and popular with Germans and Turks (guessing here) alike. Rightly so. We can very highly recommend the chicken skewers with bulgur and slices of pita bread. The chicken was very juicy and grilled - utterly delicious. What the other people had on their plates looked very good too. Next time I will try the Pide. Can also recommend the Fallafel dish.

We went there to order a take away pizza and picked it up at the restaurant for a large family meal (delivery service is also available). The service was impeccable (we were offered some free drinks whilst waiting) and extremely friendly. The pizza was very good and our kids loved them. In particular the rocket pizza was great! Highly recommended!

My "average" rating is generous. Apparently most of the staff of this restaurant had quit some time before we arrived. And even though un the outside garden setting there were not too many diners, the one waitress was overwhelmed, nor was she particularly competent. The menu allows each person to decide the size of the steak ordered, which is priced accordingly. This is a nice touch, and those who ate steak said the meat was good. As a vegetarian, I ordered a salad and baked potato, which were also good. But unless and until the kitchen and wait staff improve, I would stay away from this place.

Gemütliches Gasthaus, im Sommer mit schönem Biergarten. Umfangreiche regionale Speisekarte. Alles gut zubereitet.
