What a great place in the middle of nowhere......! We arrived in Cochrane after a very long drive from Argentina to find such a wonderful, peaceful place with great food! Happy to see it's still there. Visited the place in November 2010.......

Friendly staff. The cake I had was nothing special, but not bad either. Prices are reasonable. That piece of cae and the "jugo naural" I had cost 3500 CLP. They have lambskins on the chairs and huge windows which allow you to observe the carretera austral. Very relaxing! But outside on the Terrace they have that ceap standard plastic garden furniture which actually ruins the cosy atmosphere. All in all a recommendable place, I´d go back.

We were camping in the campground below the restaurant. We decided to walk up and try it. This is a new restaurant/hostel. The property is beautiful and in excellent condition and sits on a hill overlooking Cochrane.
The interior of the restaurant is warm, inviting, and in immaculate condition. In addition, you have an excellent view of the city. We had Ceviche, sampled all of the Deserts, and coffee. The Ceviche was the best that I have ever had. The dessert was also excellent. We met the owner and staff who were attentive and friendly. If the hostel is anything like the restaurant, you will not be disappointed.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed our meal here and it has a nice atmosphere as well. The hosts are lovely. Worth a visit if you are going through this part of the world.

Our hotel owner highly recommended the wild trout and salmon, but, when we asked about it at the restaurant, they only had frozen fish. They were out of filete, so we both ordered lomo rare (a punto). The waitress was quite helpful and courteous. They had olive oil, but no balsamic vinegar, which I consider a must-have for high-end restaurants.
Appetizer was one piece each of hot Chilean bread and a dish with some cheese slices, black olives, and avellanas (similar to roasted soy nuts). The highlight was the sauces: the pepper sauce was creamy and delicious. Bob's mushroom sauce was quite good. The French fries were fine. We shared a pisco sour, which was average in our book. From the Trip Advisor rating and reviews and the high praise of our hotel host, we just expected a higher standard all around.

We rented a cabana on la isla, and went also 4 times to the restaurant. The quality of the food was very good. We liked the hospitality, the music, the friendlyness, this is Patagonia at its best. If you need a place to sleep? The owner has the best Cabanas of Cochrane.

Our cuisine features a simple menu of dishes produced with quality ingredients for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We offer salads, soups, cheese boards, puyes (in season), pastas, fish and steaks. Enjoy our Pisco Sour, different craft beers from the Aysen region, with different alternatives of Chilean wines at the bar, Terrace or in the dining room. Finish off with a delicious homemade dessert, assorted teas and a wonderful Colombian coffee. Always, with the warm touch of Espacio y Tiempo's team.
Everything in this restaurant is homemade! The staff is very friendly and the food is more than tasty. They have a lot of different plates and everything is fresh. They also have a very good selection of wine and they also serve Craft beer from...MoreThanks for your feedback! It is never too late to thank our clients/guests for the time you have taken to let us know you enjoyed our restaurant. Warm regards, Connie & Alan
