Our non-smoking restaurant, where the President, ambassadors and many other notable figures have enjoyed lunch, invites you to come and sample its excellent cuisine, it’s unrivalled selection of fine wines, and the authentic old-time Austro-Hungarian atmosphere. The U Dělové koule Restaurant is designed in the style of the year 1866, decorated with weapons, paintings and uniforms from the Austro-Prussian War. The restaurant can seat 70 people and offers regional and local specialties. There is also a summer Terrace for up to 20 people. Our staff assure a pleasant, family atmosphere, and speak German, English and Russian.

varied traditional food, typical Czech dishes delivered with good quality, definitely better than most "tourist" places close to the hotel on Husova street

Not the worst restaurant in town, but we have some mixed feelings from it. Interior is okay, prices are reasonable, but the food was not so good sometimes. We have tried many meals there as we used to visit it with friends, but then few meals were not good at all and when we refused it we were being convinced by the staff that we are wrong and there is nothing wrong about the meal. You have to choose wisely from the menu to get the meal that would be okay. But if you want to go to a pub where you can get something average to eat, is should be no problem here. If you want to have a great dining experience, you should cross the street instead.

We went to eat when there was a Valentine's Day special on offer, but were happy that we could also choose from the main menu. The staff were very friendly, the house white ver palatable, and the food cooked and presented beautifully. We were so impressed, we returned the next afternoon for coffee and cake, which was also delicious!

This place is as good as it is unexpected. In a town with virtually no vegetarian resturant food, the Vegeet House pops out like an anomaly. The greatest court yard garden, great food and amazing drinks makes this a true Bohemian gem.
Beware, their sign outside is quite non-distinct so you either have to know it's there or stumble on top of it.

The girls waitering the restaurant speak (some) english and serve with lots of kindness.
The food is good, maybe a bit on the slow side, but good.
Nice atmosphere and recommended.
We stayed at the hotel above the restaurant and ate here a few times (lunch & dinner) and were satisfied every time.

What a wonderful cafe cum wine bar hidden in a side street off of the main square. It is a wonderful space..tastefully decorated and full of great photographs. The small tapa like fare is of excellent quality and the Moravian white wine was first class. The staff are very professional as well as very friendly.
Highly recommended.

This is a very pleasant restaurant proposing typical local food. The portions are gorgeous as in many places in the country. However, the prices are here about the half of what you will be charged for the same food in Prague. You eat in the middle of a beautiful forest with huge trees all around you. And when the sun shines, the scenery is superb. The service is young, beautiful, smiling and doing its best. It was however slow, we had to wait nearly one hour. This restaurant is run by a very small team and it looks like all is prepared when the order arrives. As we arrived at about 2pm, quite few meals were no longer available. But not big deal, it is a small scale operation…. The walk through surrounding forest is a must and helps digestion!
