Visited the hotel for a counter lunch. Found the restaurant to be quite pleasant. Good value and well cooked tasty meals. And as an added bonus, a senior's menue, also with generous serves. Staff were great, pleasant, happy and helpful. The dining area was roomy and clean too. $18 to $25 should satisfy most people's appetites.

I've been to vela 9 a number of times for coffee and cake or a glass of wine. Today we had a late lunch. Ordered the dumplings, Ruben Sandwich, beef burger and a pie. Food was excellent, service was very quick and really friendly. They have lovely coffee and a decent beer/wine list. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Inverloch!

This restaurant was reccomeded by locals. They were of course right. Too chef who knows how to produce top notch food. I lived in Japan so am very fussy about Japanese. I normally am not a fusion fan preferring very traditional authentic Japanese. This spot converted me really great sushi the salmon and swordfish were absolutely sublime. Book during peak holiday season as it is a small restaurant and very popular.

Great little cafe, its popularity suggests a strong local reputation. Good coffee and range of meals and pastries. Central location makes it handy for the beach.

We have been here twice and this occasion was the best for service and food.
Their (home made) Spring Rolls are very good and we were also impressed with the (improved) "Mongolian Beef" (medium hot) and the "Meat Combination in a Basket". Although, I am sure there were pieces of skin/fat in that dish which I do not like. But that may be a personal issue.
Despite a quite, late winters night the place had a good crowd in which is a good indicator!
Very satisfying!

Dreadful experience. Made an online booking and, when nearly there with whole family in tow, found that they'd made a mistake and we fully booked instead. Person on the phone was rude and unhelpful. Will never go back and won't recommend.
##Locals avoid and go to Divas in Korumburra instead##

Have been here several times for lunch over the last few years and always find the food and service very reliable. Pleasant spot to sit out in the arcade area and read the papers provided until the well prepared and tasty food arrives. Had a very nice hamburger meal on this visit. Good coffee and friendly service. Business is now for sale.

We dropped in for a quick brekkie before hitting the road. I was impressed by their huge range of old fashioned drinks baked goods eg coffee rings, bee stings, lamingtons etc.my friend had a breakfast roll which he said was really tasty and well cooked. I had a pie which was very good. I ended up bringing back hot cross buns, bee stings, fruit pies for my family. The staff were lovely and very helpful too. Coffee was well made and nice and hot!

Thoroughly delightful breakfast here. My wife’s request for extra butter resulted in a very generous supply of butter. The eggs were fresh and the bacon cooked to perfection. Pleased to see good sourdough in use s well. Coffee was hot and strong. All round great meal.
