If you’re after a winter sports holiday, you can’t find a more gorgeous place to do it than Interlaken, the popular Swiss resort town. There’s superlative skiing, toboggan rides, miles of sledding tracks (which, like the ski slopes, vary in difficulty), snowboarding… all with amazing views of the mountains. In summer, hike among the ibex at nearby Neiderhorn, or shop for watches in the town’s boutiques.

My friends and I visited this restaurant frequently, no matter the lunch or dinner they never disappointed you.
English available as well.
Attentive caring by the lovely service team
Cannot go wrong from the menu except the chicken wrap... sorry it was not my type.
Rosti, rice, pasta and dessert are all amazing in a very reasonable price range. Highly recommended for a visit.

Don't let outward appearances fool you. Walking in, you might think you've inadvertently stumbled into a neighborhood 'dive'. Nothing could be further from the truth. This was truly a culinary joy. Every dish was spectacular, from the tomato soup, to the amazingly light, fluffy, pasta...MoreThank you very much for your kompliments All the best to you and friendly regards Jeannette

Citta Vecchia Restaurant: Located in Old Town Interlaken. Streets are poorly marked so the restaurant was a challenge to find, but worth the effort! Lovely Italian setting with homemade pasta. Try the delicious Sicilian Pasta a d Ravioli stuffed with cheese and eggplant – DELICIOUS!

We walked past this restaurant on a Saturday night and thought we would try to get a table inside. We got lucky as a table was just leaving, but otherwise the small restaurant was packed to the brim.
The food is great, the service is way above average Swiss levels and they have the best live music I have experienced in any restaurant in Switzerland.
This place made for a very fun night out! Definitely book a table and give them a try.

The restaurant is located in the old part of Interlaken. It is a nicely decorated place with two large rooms of tables. They serve all types of Italian cuisine. We tried Prosciutto, 4 Stangioni, Margaretha and Pasta Bolognese. All tasted great. The waiter spoke good English.

The restaurant was super busy but they managed to get us a table, the staff are lovely.
Great portions and so much flavor in the dishes.
Good variety (expensive) drinks to accompany the food.
The dishes were packed full of vegetables and very tasty, the Pad Thai came with a weird sauce which wasn't what we were used to but overall all the dishes were great!

Very cosy restaurant that is popular with locals. It is a small and very pleasant restaurant. You will be greeted warmly and taken good care of. Menu specialises in Swiss and German style food. We enjoyed he minestrone soup, a fresh salad, crumbed pork with fries and pork with noodles. All dishes were tasty. Consider the half-serves unless you have a big appetite. Full serves are big meals. All very pleasant. One small warning - they do not take credit cards. It's cash only but prices are moderate so will not break the bank. Enjoyed our dinner at Restaurant Baren.

Welcome to The Three Tells Irish Bar, Interlaken. We will make sure that there is always something new to enjoy whenever you visit. You will always get a warm welcome and a cold beer. Come in for the great food, the live music, live sports a perfectly poured pint of Guinness®or a chilled Magner's Cider. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, we take great pride in providing our guests with excellent quality products and service.
After seeing the high rating on Tripadvisor, we were excited to eat in this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the pub was busy.
We ordered The Vegan Chilli nachos, a Mixed Salad, and the quinoa salad.
-The Chilli was dried out, and had hardly any cheese - we ended up leaving half of this as it was so bland/dry
-the 'mixed salad' was a plate of lettuce, with one tomato chopped into 4, we had to ask for onion and there was a nice dressing, but nothing else.
-the Quinoa salad was lovely though!
if your are going for a drink, this is your place, but i would choose elsewhere to eat!

This is more of a "locals" spot than a tourist hangout...although there are enough of the wait staff that speak english to be effective. The views are spectacular - unfortunately on this day it was raining so all table must be inside. It was fascinating watching the storms come in and out of the Mountains. The menu is varied enough - mostly local specialities but there were two fishes (Char and Salmon trout) both of which were excellent. The meat (rump cut) was terrific. The pork steak was perhaps the best pork steak I have had. The plates included a generous selection of veggies - artfully arranged. Depending on the plate you get potatoes, pasta or croquettes. For starters we had a salad (yes a leafy veggie salad!). The dessert menu is not translated but the server got us through it and we enjoyed some meringues with ice cream and sorbet a chocolate cake (wow) and a rhubarb tiramisu (it worked! and was very tasty). Relatively easy parking on site (a hotel is housed here as well).

We have been there 7 or 8 times and the meat (as it is their specialty) was always perfect. We chose "entrecôte" or "filet" and every time it was cooked to our taste. My sister took once the salmon and once a vegetarian dish and these also were delicious. The personnel is friendly and we just love the black and red decoration. This restaurant is located in the center of Interlaken in a pedestrian zone and has a nice Terrace. Thanks and we will be back
