Atmosphere at de Buren is very pleasant and casual, service is very friendly. Meals were OK but nothing very special and neither were the prices. Drinks quite expensive.
After the main course we were 'forgotten'. When finally asked about another drink we mentioned we might have like a desert had it been offered.Apologies all over and a free coffee to make up for it. So yes, very friendly service, but it might not be the first place I think of for another meal.

Went for dinner here on a special deal, for which we got the special menu; choices were varied enough, but no drinks prices were mentioned (I so dislike that "oversight")
Staff was pleasant enough, and the food was OK but nothing spectaculair. Won't be in a rush to get back there.

One of my fav restaurants in my hometown Hellevoetsluis. Great steaks and spareribs. Friendly personnel make this a nice restaurantwhere you will feel at home. Excellent quality for a reasonable price. I would advise to make a reservation in front because it's always very busy.

Cozy little restaurant in one of the old parts of Hellevoetsluis. The food is delicious and all homemade. Service was excellent and staff very welcoming.

Having lived, and regularly returned to (nearby) Brielle, since 2009, I had never visited this restaurant before. I was told by the Owner that it had been there for circa two years, but it is easy to miss, as it isn't located directly adjacent to the bridge on Oostzanddijk. The food quality, in my opinion, is certainly 'higher end', but at a very reasonable price, indeed. The Gergratineerde Oesters (starter) - were fantastic, and the main of a De Ruyter Fish burger, was excellent. The restaurant interior is very pleasant, albeit, I ate outside, which was also immaculately tidy, and pleasant. Recommended.

Loved it. Scallops cooked specially for me with no gluten in the sauce. Really nice wine. Service with a smile from a lovely blonde waitress who could not do enough to help. Great view of windmill and boats outside. What is not to enjoy, perfect.

They serve pretty standard fare, the food is just OK. Service is friendly and fast, Location is really nice, busy Terrace outside on a small square in the centre of Hellevoetsluis.

Good food for a great and nostalgic price. This is what you can expect from Restaurant Duinhoek. The restaurant's open kitchen provides an intimate atmosphere where people feel comfortable and at home. A surprising menu which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes as well as bar snacks. Our menu demonstrates that our chefs not only have good taste but also know how to keep costs down. Restaurant Duinhoek has a lovely lounge Terrace situated at the water's edge. Come and visit us for a nice cup of Illy espresso or a cappuccino, and a tasty lunch or dinner even when the sun isn't shining. Our chefs are happy to set up the BBQ on the outdoor patio when the weather is nice. Don't feel like eating out? You can order nearly all the dishes on Restaurant Duinhoek's menu by phone. We will then deliver these dishes to your holiday home on our Resort.
Food was very nice. Service was slow. Only managed to get one drink with our meals. 4 starters 4 mains 4 drinks 10% discount. 80 euros. Not bad. Would go back. Prawn cocktail is brown shrimps. Tappas was really good. Half chicken just that.

Located right in the marina of Hellevoetsluis, very nice area to go for a stroll after dinner.
The menu can best be described as modern Italian. Food was predominately good, although one of us ordered a pizza Margherita which was pretty plain and lacked flavour. As this is one of the most iconic pizza’s, I reckon they should have been able to nail that one.

Very friendly staff and love the four course menu with asparagus. The ambiance is nice and cozy. The desert was delicious.
