Our family had coffee at this place, while at Guruvayur. Vintage coffee is what they serve even now. Vintage in terms of taste, flavour and presentation. All coffee lovers will definitely love this place.
With plenty of competition around, the clientele is generally those who "look and search" for this restaurant. It definitely never disappoints you.

this was one of the best resturants in Guruvayur once upon a time ... its has lost its charm and the food being served is below average.. the only advantage it has is its proximity to the temple

Mayura's renowned restaurant delight the senses with elegant ambiance, gracious service and a delectable menu for the last few years in Gurupavanapuri.
We walked in to this restaurant earlier this week for dinner. We wanted to try something new and the restaurant does offer variety of cuisine in vegetarian option. The Service is simply superb and the quality of food is one of finest in town.
Being part of a bigger hotel in town, they charge 14.65% VAT on everything they serve. I did speak to their manager to let them know that they are charging incorrectly and that VAT is either 14.5% on 40% of the bill or 5.6% of over all bill. The manager did seem unaware of this and said he will pass on the update to the relevant team. I really hope they do, because if they don't it is nothing but cheating their guests.

We had visited the Guruvayoor Temple in the morning, without having tea and breakfast. However, after Darshan we had a breakfast in Saravanna, which is quite good.

While there are other restaurants in Guruvayur on similar lines, this is probably one of the very few that serves hot spongy idlis even for dinner. Found this place by trial and what a find! They also serve the usual dosas, chapathis, aapam, idiappam etc.

Ramakrishna Lunch Home at East Nada, is the closest restaurant situated to the temple. The Restaurant is almost crowded right from morning to night. All the South Indian breakfast items are available and tasty too. The filter coffee served tastes very good.
It is our habbit to have our coffee in this restaurant at the early hours before proceeding to Darshan or at times after the darshan around 6.30 AM. We have tasted Idli and Pongal with wada which are tasty. The service at this restaurant is fast and good.

Thulasi,Our restaurant specialized in multi-cuisine,yet highlighting the cuisine of south India,is a space of hygiene and clean air, exquisitely furnished with energetic and exuberant servers at your beck and call.
The restaurant serves vegetarian food and is generally not very crowded as it is normally accessed by guests staying in the property. The restaurant is normally empty as guests prefer room service. The food is okay nothing great but does not disappoint you.

Restaurant is located on Guruvayoor to Thrissur road a few kilometers from Guruvayoor. The quality of food and service are excellent. The restaurant interior is simple but clean and has sort of open/live kitchen which shows how good the food preparation area is. I'd also like to mention that the handwash and washrooms were kept clean, which is always welcome. Liked the masala dosai with beetroot stuffing and poori masala.
