Although my German is terrible and didn't understand a lot of the explanations on the wine, I was very happy to drink it! The food was excellent too - traditional Austrian food in a buffet style. Highly recommended.

The family-run Gasthof Zweimüller is situated in the centre of Grieskirchen (4,800 inhabitants). Built in 1604 the old-established hotel retains its traditional charm and yet offers up-to date facilities. Our house is well known for its delicious food. We offer traditional Austrian dishes. The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday for lunch from 11.00 to 2pm and for dinner from 5.30 to 10pm, and on Sundays from 11am to 2pm.

Looking for I restaurant for I quick lunch I found Zweimueller. quite some people inside but I was seated on a nice table. Opted for the businesslunch which consisted of a soup and a main dish. Both well prepared and good portion size. for a mere € 7.90 it was a very good deal. The only thing which was disturbing me (a little bit) was that you have to go through the part of the restaurant where smoking is allowed to enter in the part which is no-smoking. Service was very nice though!

Sind aufgrund der sehr guten Empfehlungen zum Parzerwirt maschiert (von der Innenstadt), da wir nicht wussten, dass die Gastwirtschaft so weit außerhalb liegt, für die zwei über 80-jährigen Mitreisenden war dies wirklich anstrengend (alles bergauf). Auto ist somit empfehlenswert. Nachdem wir angekommen sind, wirklich schöne Außenlocation somit wir aufgrund des tollen Wetters draußen geblieben sind. Mit großer Freude auf richtig gute österreichische Küche, haben wir einen Blick in die Karte geworfen und wurden leider enttäuscht (eine sehr kleine Auswahl, die uns absolut nicht ansprach). Hinzuzufügen ist, das wir uns mit der österreichischen Küche sehr gut auskennen und bei unseren Reisen schon sehr oft in den Genuss der guten österreichischen Küche gekommen sind. Um den Aufwand nicht ganz umsonst aufgenommen zu haben, haben wir dann wenigsten was getrunken. Wurde zwar ein hochpreisiger Getränkezwischenstopp, wir hatten uns bei den Weinpreisen verlesen (8,00 anstelle von gelesenen 4,00 € für ein 1/4 Glas), aber was soll's. Ob sich die Küche in der Zwischenzeit geändert hat weiß ich nicht, laut Website ja. Für mich jedenfalls hat sich ein erneutes Austesten des Parzerwirt aufgrund der 1. Erfahrung erledigt.

One of several inns in this regional town near Wels, Gasthof Lugmayr offers a varied menu of classic Austrian dishes and regional specialities. The owner/chef is well trained and performs at a very high standard. The lovely garden is a treat in the summer where the chef often offers grill dishes. He uses fresh, local ingredients which vary with the season. He also features local beer, wine and cider. They also offer rooms with bath for overnight guests at very reasonable rates. Worth a vist if you are in the area for a nice dinner full of local color. Open Monday - Friday from 1700. Sundays and local holidays lunch until 1300. Closed on Saturday for dinner.

before we went to thermal spa, we decided to habe your lunch at the Niedermairs Restaurant.
We had Backhendlsalat, Spezi, Carrot-apple-juice, dish of the day (that was surschnitzel with potatoe salad) and fries. 31,90 not very cheap, but for decent meal and holidays it was ok.
everything tasted really good.
Staff was friendly.

if you are in for dinner, visit the "G'wölb". Very nice setup only disadvantage is that this is the smoking area, which might be disturbing during a nice meal. Nevertheless food is great and the wine card is excellent. If you are lucky they might even have a special fish, grilled whole.

Nice stop along the highway with local athmosphere and local food. Landzeit is the leading location along Austrian Highways if it comes to service and quality. (But of course, along the highway Prices are higher). Large buffet with choices of hot and cold meals, coffees, fruits, drinks etc.

This is Parkhotel's restaurant and during the course of my family's stay with them whenever they visit me here in Bad Schallerbach (I'm currently undergoing a month of cardio-rehab after undergoing an open heart surgery), we have celebrated two separate birthday parties in this lovely garden restaurant. The first was last August 15, 2015 during my Aunt's 65th birthday and just last week August 28, my sister Angelica's 38th birthday. On both occasions, our family and friends were extremely pleased with the quality of service and the delicious food. A bit pricey tho' but worth every penny!!!

Im grünen Türl erleben Sie den Stil der 1980er Jahre.
Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der vom Bad getrennte WC-Raum, die ausreichende Anzahl an Steckdosen und das sehr gute WLAN.
Das Haus wird in mehreren Generationen von einer Familie geführt und bereits der 4 Jährige kümmert sich um die Kinder der Gäste :-)
Das Abendessen im hauseigenen Restaurant lässt keine Wünsche offen, das Frühstück ist umfangreich und passt perfekt.
Dass das Haus mitten im Grünen liegt, kann man vermutlich in jeder Bewertung lesen.
