The taste experiences at restaurant Schwarzwaldstube have made Hotel Traube Tonbach one of Europe's best places when it comes to cooking. Head chef Torsten Michel is a master of flavours, his compositions create an incredibly light and perfect cuisine – delicate, intense, full-flavoured and delicious at the same time. Sommelier Stéphane Gass pairs each course with a subtle wine from Traube's outstanding cellar.
if you like your 3 star Michelin restaurants to provide traditional style food , this restaurant works well. It doesn't have the excitement in the food that others provide, but everything is prepared and presented at the highest quality. Its much more casual and relaxed than many places and perhaps risks not feeling extra special.

What an experience..
We went to the Bareiss for lunch and have chosen the lunch menu. It was our first 3 Star Restaurant experience and we can truely recommend - it is worth the money. Each course is a highlight for all senses - visually and taste wise. We spend about 3hours eating and enjoying the atmosphere.

After a visit in a museum nearby we stopped here for dinner! We were lucky to get a table because it was already packed. Even though it was busy, the staff was very hospitable and fast. The food was hard to choose because the food in the menu and on the tables around us looked great. We had different two vegetarian meals. Both choices were great. We can absolutely recommend this place. But next time we better book in advance.....

We arrived Friday evening around 10pm without reservation and surprisingly got a table. We liked the rustic decoration which gave a warm and cozy atmosphere. There are traditional Swabian dishes and some international dishes on the menu. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and efficient.

We were only in town for a week, but we were able to go to the Einhorn three times. The first was just for drinks in the cellar to soak up some atmosphere. The second and third time we went back for some amazing steak dinners. My favorite item was a fillet with blue cheese and mushrooms. We have to leave town, but can't wait to come back for more. Thanks Rainer for the excellent service.

The Trollinger is in the Mövenpick Hotel at Stuttgart?s busy airport. The restaurant has a charming interior décor. There is a successful contrast between modern interior design and traditional chandeliers, creating a stylish oasis of calm. This is a place where you can dine splendidly - and socialise. As you would expect from a Mövenpick Hotel, the cuisine is ambitious offering a mixture of traditional Swiss dishes and local Swabian specialities. Typical dishes such as Maultaschen (a type of ravioli with a meat and spinach filling) or Flädlesuppe (clear soup with pancake strips) are also on the menu. The service is friendly and efficient and offers expert advice when it comes to choosing from the fabulous wine list.
Literally right out of the airport and a quick walk across the street and you are at the hotel.
The rooms are well appointed and extremely comfortable. The bathrooms have heated floors and a nice big shower! You can even open you window in your room to get some fresh air.
Breakfast buffet is fabulous! Every morning a fresh smoothie shot is brought to your table. A wonderful selections of teas and fresh juices. Fresh breads, cheeses, omelet station, fresh fruits and more! Service is wonderful.
The gym is never full and there is everything you would need to get a good workout. The spa is fabulous. 3 different types of saunas, a relaxation area showers.
The downstairs bar is great after a long day of work. Again fabulous service and good food.
I would high sky recommend this hotel.

After several days of traditional German cuisine, we found 1-Starred restaurant Speisemeisterei. It is a long haul from the center of Stuttgart, but worth it, for the view, location and beautiful decor. It's hard to believe this elegantly decorated single room restaurant exists in such a remote location. Be prepared for a tasting menu full of little bites and foam. The main dishes are excellent, but you definitely do not leave full. The service is impeccable though, and even the house wines are top notch. We made Reservations a few days in advance and there were still multiple tables open.

I was with a friend, ordered Lamb kleftiko, johannisbeer nektar, fried calamari and something..the food was OK..i would not say extra-ordinary but OK. The worst part was they didn't except ATM cards so my friend has to pay for me. Service was good as they offered free shots. The atmosphere is really compact and loud. I would come again despite of the compact ambience but with cash!

Our fie
Rest meal on Germany was last night. We had plans for somewhere else since this place we thought you had to have a reservation. Well stop 1 was closed so on we went for a walk to another spot. We came across this lovely spot. The atmosphere, waiter, and food for simple fabulous. They had outside Seating set up across the street which was lovely. After being in the hot and humid temps if the US this was a welcomed sight to be able to sit outdoors. Food was amazing. Started first with a sampling from the chef of a creamy Carrot soup. Not too creamy at all topped with some green onion, what a great start to the meal. Followed by a quick side salad, then the main course. Our table of 4 had the schnitzel (2), with potatoes, pork cheeks with Spatzel, and whole trout with root veggies. For desert we had the chocolate mouse, and elderflower ice cream. I can't tell you how good everything was and I will be visiting again before we more to our next location.
Highly recommended!!!

Found tango on TripAdvisor. Great 'off the beaten track' Location - small and intimate. Lovely server - Elisa? Tasty appies/salad my husband was disappointed with his rump steak - too fatty. My grilled veggies and goats cheese were great. Server/owner took steak off bill although we didn't complain. They apologized profusely. Turned a bit of a negative into a real positive and we'll be back. Great wine list, too and knowledgeable server!
