Għasri (Maltese: L-Għasri) is a village in the western part of Gozo, Malta, with a population of 525 people (as of March 2014). By population, it is the smallest village in Gozo after San Lawrenz, and the third smallest in the Maltese Islands, after Bidnija and Mdina. Għasri, however, has a relatively large area.

Only letdown this time was that the roof Terrace wasn't open despite it being a lovely sunny day. However, we once again enjoyed the freshness of the local produce and had the Gozitan platter of cheese, olives, capers, tomatoes and onion accompanied by fresh bread and also ordered some fresh cheese. All really delicious, washed down with a bottle of their own red wine. We bought some to take home in the shop downstairs. Such good value.

This establishment was only 75 yards from our accommodation. The food and service was excellent. the food we ordered was perfectly cooked and unlike many other restaurants the portions very just right as we hate not finishing the meal.

We have been to rangers bar on various occasions, this time due to the weather the upstairs Terrace was closed so we sat down stairs inside.
The waiters were very good the service was excellent but the food was awful.
I had chicken burger my husband had pasta
There's nothing to say about the burger small portion not impressed at all
The pasta was very over cooked, most of it wasn't eaten
We won't be going back any time soon

We had come over to Gozo for a couple of days and on our first evening, we decided to dine close to our apartment and chose Cafe Jubilee. In the afternoon, I had popped in to look at the interior, and having seen that it resembled a French bistro, chose to eat there that evening.
We were not disappointed. The very friendly waiter, Senad, recommended a mulled concoction, made with rum and apple,
starting the evening off with a smile. He and Krystle, the other waitress, could not have been more helpful, or cheerful. We ordered stuffed marrows and rabbit stew, both of which were delicious, and then shared fig ice cream, which was excellent.
Wine was followed with very well made Irish Coffees, and then Senad appeared with a platter of salami, capers, and crackers, on the house.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our evening, made extra special by the warmth of our servers.

La Stanza Restaurant is situated in a 400 year old farmhouse in a quiet outskirt of Victoria enjoying a vast view of the historic fortified Citadel from its Terrace. La Stanza is not just a place in which we work, it is our passion. We want you to feel welcome, relaxed, special; in traditional and atmospheric surroundings with attentive staff. We want your experience to be enjoyable and memorable. We believe that dining should be an experience to remember and truly enjoyed. We want you to love to dine!
La Stanza has been a favourite of ours for a few years. It excelled when the chef was German and the front of house a Frenchman. It has since changed hands and is now an 'Italian restaurant' even serving pizza. Nothing wrong with that but last night we tried the new owners for the first time. The highlight of the evening was the young girl who greeted us and saw us to our table on their wonderful Terrace. Nestled under Citadella the Terrace has great ambience and stands out as a distinctive feature.
The waiter (owner?) was disinterested and unhelpful. No specials of the day and no interest in his guests. We had scallops (three tiny ones) and what can only be described as a bruschetta as entrees. For 20 euros these were way over priced for what they were. As mains we had a fillet steak and and prawns. The steak was generous and prawns were OK. The potatoes and vegetables were ordinary.
I do not think they once visited the table to see how things were going. The price with one beer and a soft drink and one espresso was in excess of 80 euros.
No longer a favourite - sadly.

You'll need to explore the backstreets of Victoria to find food worth hunting for, but once here you'll be glad you did.Off the tourist track and with none of the traps, Maldonado Bistro is the sort of place only locals know about but with the food and ambiance to charm all. Our menu is a satisfying mix of the best local delicacies, bruschetta, pasta, grills and salads. So go exploring and discover a spot to treasure.
Situated in one of the back alleys behind Pjazza Indipendenza, our dining experience here was truly pleasant. The ambiance is charming and relaxed. The food takes centre stage both in preparation as well as choice of quality ingredients. The Twice-Baked Gozitan Gbejniet Soufflé is a must try as is the Rabbit Three Ways! The staff were very cordial and accommodating. I look forward to my next visit!

Enjoy a variety of tastes at L’Ortolan Restaurant featuring our popular daily breakfast buffet served in an elegant ambience and themed dinner buffets during the warmer months. On balmy summer nights, the dining room extends on to the large al fresco Terrace, its ceiling fashioned from starlit skies and with a view onto the illuminated pool area. Kindly note that opening hours/days for dinner are subject to change, based on season and weather conditions.
L'Ortolan serves the best breakfast I have come across anywhere. There are over 140 items on offer. Choices range through fresh fruit and smoothies to cold meat collations with cheeses, smoked fish, omelettes made to order, egg dishes including Eggs Benedict made to order, 'Full English' type items, traditional Gozitan breakfast items, German-style breakfast items, specially made kids' breakfasts, ceereals and so on. You can choose to sit out on the broad sunny terraces overlooking the pools or in the cool shade indoors if you want to. Excellent!

No airs and graces to this place and sitting outside seems the preferred choice. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Huge portions and very good value. There are the ubiquitous pizza and pasta options but some other Maltese dishes as well, which we chose and were delicious. Cheap wine prices too.

Ta' Dbiegi Cafetteria and Diner is a restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. we offer a variety of snacks and even traditional dishes, pasta and fish. situated inside the crafts village it's a family friendly restaurant in a serene and tranquil environment
Frequently, eating establishments at sites of activities can be overpriced or not overly good, the establishments surviving on the notion you haven't got any place to go. We wouldn't necessarily pick the Cafetteria as a place to go by itself, but as the place to eat at the Crafts Village, it's just fine. Good selection of food and beverages, from the cooked to order or the grab and go. Nice folks.
