Lovely place... good fondue, pizza etc. They have a house dog that can be a bit noisy sometimes but we did not mind. Service was good too but a bit on the expensive side.

This cosy family-run restaurant in the style of a stube, wooden panelled and semi basement, ski decor even in summer. Friendly, efficient service and delicious rustic traditional food with plenty of choice and some vegetarian dishes. The tarts are like very thin crust pizzas. Bit of a wait when busy but we liked it so much we went twice on a 3 night stay. Booking recommended. Note that a lot of restaurants close quite early in Gerardmer but this one was still accepting customers at 9pm.

We stayed at this lodge and had dinner with them every night of our visit which included roasted partridge, char fish, scallops in pumpkin soup, and desserts, wine and cheese to die for. The staff was incredibly helpful with everyone working extremely hard to ensure we understood the menu and that all our expectations were exceeded. I can't say enough positive things about this hotel and restaurant. Our suite was very nice with a balcony and a nice view. It was quite a good value in the Relais and Chateau group of hotels. The room and bathroom were spacious and the beds were comfortable. They also had a great breakfast buffet. There is no charge to park your car and it is an easy drive to Colmar or the Le Corbusier Chapel in Ronchamp. This facility has a lodge atmosphere with nice wood interiors and decor. I do wish to express our gratitude to the staff who redefined charm: Audrey who spoke excellent English and kept an eye out for our every need. Laeticia who was so kind to pack up our leftover veal so we could snack on it the next day en route to Strasbourg, Bertille who not only gave great service in the hotel but she also helped haul in our luggage the day we arrived. And last but not least, Cyril who helped me navigate an astounding wine list the size of a dictionary! He was also a master of the frommage which we lovingly refer to as the chariot of cheese!!! So needless to say, we hope to make it back to this part of France and will pilgrimage here if at all possible. Merci and kind regards from your new fans in Texas!

At Lido, all our dishes are home made, prepared with passion by our chef Julien Chrisment and his team. Seasonality, authenticity and freshness are at the base of the food we offer. Our rigor and professionalism have earned us the title Maître Restaurateur. We welcome you throughout the year, opening hours vary seasonally contact us to check. In any season, the view of the lake makes the magic of the place.
A really pleasant experience, we came for lunch during a snow storm. The lake view is amazing even during snowfalls. We where welcome and felt very cool immediately. The dishes was very good and really well cooked. The desert, a cooked peer was fantastic.

We discovered this wonderful family run restaurant/hotel in the Vosges three years ago and promised to return. This time we intend to return for five nights in November to try out their new spa. Lunch today was superb in additional to being a great bargain at 14.50.

Created in April 2014, the P'tite Sophie restaurant in Gérardmer embodies the mischievous spirit and creativity of chef Hervé Cune in a warm and cosy ambiance. Its "gourmet-bistro" menu is put together by the starred-chef of the Jardins de Sophie, and carried out by Jean Frederic Leonhard, chef of this chic bistrot. We find fresh, quality, seasonal products with, among others, the "blanquette de veau" or veal stew, beef tartar or the fresh farm chicken egg which is given a place of pride.
We had a very nice lunch. The menu is quite limited but the dishes are very attractive and everything is very fresh.
We had 2 starters and 2 mains, which made us happy.
The good thing is that there is also a menu with 3 courses for the 'petit gourmets'... Our 7 year old son enjoyed every dish.

Set back from the street, this is a modern decorated tavern/restaurant in, what looks like from the outside, a temporary shed building. It is warm and nicely appointed though, and very clean and neat. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a goats cheese salad starter which was huge, followed by a potage dish of hot cheese sauce with cold meats and cheese, strange but tasty and very filling. For desert I had the Cafe Gourmand, which was very large and very sweet. Others had a variety of steaks which were well received. Reasonably priced and agreeable.
