My friend told me about this tavern so I decided to go see it for myself. I went with a family of 8. Before the fish we had a few starters which were excellent. I would recommend the octopus as a starter, I enjoyed that a lot. We then had two different types of fish. They were both fresh and tasty. They were cooked to perfection. I would recommend this to people that are in the area.

Amazing family atmosphere! Everything made by love and filing. Octopus salad, fried zucchini and fried calamari have great taste. On the end you can choose between fruits or ouzo on the house. There works all family and the atmosphere is really friendly and positive! We will definitely come again!

Welcomed back like old friends, spent a lot of our holiday here. Wonderful sunbeds, fab clean beach and just a short walk back up to the tavern for great food - either a snack, coffee or traditional Greek fare. Always friendly, well worth a visit.

I only went here to watch the football on a big screen whilst on holiday. Although the lady serving changed the channel and found the English football for me, this is where the service stopped. She often walked off, leaving the bar unattended and I had to find her to order.
This is only a cafe / bar and only serves a limited amount of food. It had "Table Football" a Pool Table and a small Internet cafe area. It was good to watch the football but we left as soon as the game ended, I don't think I would go back unless I had to!

nice place on the way to the beach, rather small menu, mostly about snackes and fast-food. very good dish (dont remember a name) like kebeb in pita.
the only minus is timetable - often it was closed.

I have had better and worse greek food during my visit of Rhodes. Ta mezedakia (literally meaning "the little tapas place") offered decent food in great portions. Even though the taverna is right on the central avenue in Gennadi it offers a quiet garden, but not many people seem to go there, because I visited on a Friday evening and I was alone. Anyway I enjoyed the food...

We ate at Nikos and Maria's whilst out drinking beers around Gennadi village. It was quite late so Nikos was running low on food however he and his son Dimitri were extremely attentive and friendly whilst my partner and I collected several Gyros for our group. The food was excellent and so reasonable cost wise. I will definitely be having another drunken Gyros before leaving Gennadi! Excellent street food!!
