This is an excellent restaurant right on the dock at Gedser's marina. The menue is varied and creative. We had different types of fish and seafood (delicious) as well as beef (very tender and fine). Top quality. The wine list is mouthwateringly well put together with many rare entries on it. For starters delicious Spanish "Pata Negra" ham is also served, cut directly from the hamholder. We had the most wonderful view over the marina and the Baltic Sea with a beautiful sunset accompaning it.The service was friendly and attentive.

Nice place, very nice staff. Wonderful time. Good WiFi spot and artsy surroundings. Even in the off season, the menu was diversified and adequate.

A tiny pub with a small dining room tacked on the side. A bit bright but clean and tidy. Chips are of course very crispy, in the Danish style. Fish and chicken well cooked and tasty, complimented by remolade - a kind of tartare sauce. Good, cheap and filling.

We visited on a Sunday for the buffet, I cannot recommend it highly enough. There were three kinds of raw herring, with onion and capers on the side for you to add - absolutely wonderful! Prawns, asparagus and great bread. Three different roast meats, meatballs, wienerschnitzel, biksmad (a pork and potato dish, traditionally made out of leftovers). Plus plenty of other delicious stuff. Pickles and vegetables, and a fantastic cheeseboard. The staff were great, decent wine and beer and of course, schnapps to go with the wonderful herring. We also added a Christmas eve desert which was not on the buffet menu - risalamande - a creamy rice pudding with crushed almonds, often served with cherries. Very sweet and rich - lovely!
129k a head (about £13), great value.
The setting and atmosphere were good too. Just go there!

We have been there 4 times now in our holiday. This is a relaxing environment with great service. Today we tried the tapas plate. It was excellent. We are traveling with our baby and this is a good alternative if you want a quiet and relaxing time. We will be back.

This place is sitting in the middle of the few houses of the port, facing the coast and the Baltic Sea.
They serve several types of cured salmon, shrimps, herrings and cheese.
The quality is outstanding and the prices very low.
Wonderful experience if you like this type of places.

Restaurant MejeriGaarden is a restaurant with a higher level of service - Feels like home - just a bit better fantastic surroundings for a romantic evening or just spoiling friends & Family.
If you think that the southern part of Denmark has few sweets spots for the pallet, then think again. Mejerigaarden is a fantastic restaurant, the service is friendly and professional, and the food is in a league of its own. A must visit if you...MoreDear Agate, Thank you very much for the fine review Best regards John MejeriGaarden.com
