We stopped for lunch while on our way from Skåne to Gothenburg on the E6. The restaurant is right next to the ocean with a great view of the beach Skrea strand. The food was excellent and the service good. They offer a few dishes for the kids, ours choose pancakes which came with vanilla icecream and a berry compote.
I had the fish soup and my husband tried the Ceasar salad which was really good with plenty of chicken and bacon!
The restaurant is decorated in a "New England/Newport" style which is very popular in Sweden, but it's nicely done - not over the top.

We spend our summer vacations in Falkenberg already for a long time and most years we had at least one meal in Gustav Bratt Restaurang. It's a historic location and the restaurant is on the first floor (above a bar/night club area). The restaurant has a large inner area with ample seats and a section that is now a covered patio area overlooking the famous brickwork bridge over the river Ätran. This used to be an open balcony before the main overhaul of the building when it was destroyed by a fire a few years ago. The menu is quite varied and the choice of wines is good too. They serve different sorts of bread as an amuse and this is very tasty. Dishes are proportioned well, nicely presented and the food is tasty. The kitchen is contemporary Swedish and we like it.

In Falkenberg it all started with the first Harry's Restaurant, many years ago. recently the owner decided to go a different direction and renamed his restaurant Hermann's. The place was also slightly refurbished. But the good things remain. A large covered outside Terrace along the square catching the evening sun and a large area inside for Swedish colder days. The food is good and burger's go in hand with other dishes like steak, salmon, pommes duchesse etc. We have come here for a long time and always enjoyed the place. The locals seem to love it too as it is always quite busy and in weekends you certainly need a reservation. The beer is local too as Falkenberg houses the Carlsberg brewery (formerly known as Falcon Beer) and they also use regional products for their meals like the meat.

I love their pizza Siciliana with lots of garlic, anchovis and kaprice. But its especially one man that is good at making them, with just the right taste and a thin tasty dough. One other is not so good at making this pizza. The environment isn't so good, but it has a local and friendly atmosphere.

Laxbutiken consists of both shop, restaurant and conference offering the largest salmon assortment in Sweden. We are located along highway E6 in Heberg, Halland and in Ljungskile, Bohuslän.
This restaurant is located right by the E6 right outside the city of Falkenberg. They are experts in sea food in particular dishes with salmon as the name of the restaurant implies.
The the food is fresh and well composed. I had a very tasty salmon salad.
The restaurant is modern and fresh. One can also buy take-away meals, different types of salmon and suitable condiments in the restaurant store.
The restaurant is well worth a visit.

This is simply aplace you HAVE to try.... Exavtly how I like it, small, local, unique, charm, great atmosphere, drinks, sanwiches, bakeries and bread.. Just amazing. The weather was sunny so of course this helped, but will come back again for sure and recommend it for everyone.
We got sandwiches, something to drink and a "vanillabulle" which we ate in the garden. After this we ordered a latte to go, though expensive but for sure worth it!

This is a place were you want to spend time for your brunch. Make sure to make a reservation for your visit, if possible in the upper area (library style). Despite being crowded, the atmosphere is very nice with soft live music in the background and a spectacular view of the sea. Fresh vegetables/salads/fruits, tasty charcuteries, moules, a variety of cold salmon and herring, omelets, pancakes, barbecue, bread and a selection of cheeses... And I probably missed half of the assortment. When you are filled, a great selection of desserts and chocolate is waiting for you. I'm longing to come back for a long Seating.

4 of us had a very good meal tonight. Contempary, unpretentious setting overlooking the bay serving local quality food well cooked & presented. Limited menu means all freshly cooked so not a problem for us. Staff are young, knowledgeable, professional & informal. Good local beers. Delightful.

I noticed that the other reviews are all by Swedes and mostly locals. This place is fine but a bit expensive for what you get and they managed to mess up our simple order. Tea and coffee are self service and the tea water was not very hot. No big complaints but not among the better bakeries I have been to in Sweden.

From Mongolian Barbecue to Sushi and the buffet. The food was fresh and had beautiful spices used in just the right amounts both at lunch and dinner time. The pricing was very reasonable and the quality quite high. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Falkenberg to try this restaurant.
