A Frankfurt suburb of about 20,000 just northwest of the city, Eschborn offers great views of the Taunus Mountains that lie just beyond. Many large corporations have constructed high-rise branch offices at Eschborn, including Deutsche Bank and Ernst and Young. The town is easily reachable by S-Bahn from Frankfurt, with the Altstadt and most of its old pre-suburban sights, including the Rathaus (Town Hall) and other historic buildings, within steps from the Eschborn station along Hauptstrasse.

For connoisseurs, our Restaurant Sèvres is one of the city’s finest venues. A gift from the tsarist era gave the restaurant its name: An exclusive exhibition of Sèvres porcelain from one of the most important European producers. While sleeping over night in Eschborn, around 7 p.m. I suddenly was hungry. Fortunately the restaurant of the hotel was already open and ready to satisfy my needs!!
The service is excellent and the food is of good quality.
It would be nice to have a butter prepared in the kitchen with some flavors as appetizer instead of the normal one. Overall: more than good!!

I went here with some friends from work whilst visiting on business. With a good first impression walking through the cozy, lounge-like restaurant, expectations were high.
Then we found that we'd been seated in a smoking area, which was anything but lounge-like... we complained, and were told that we'd be moved when a space opened up, ordered a drink each and then refused to order food until we were moved.
20 minutes in, we decided to abandon the place and try somewhere else.
So my review doesn't in any way reflect the food, but does accurately reflect my personal experience there.

We went to this restaurant as it was chosen by my brother who knows the owner of the restaurant very well. So I am not sure if the service and all around it is experienced by other guests the same way. Reading through some of...MoreThank you very much for being our guests. And thank you for your compliments. That makes us proud. Kind regards Miro

Best Worscht in town is a must visit for lunch if you are in this area. Pork or beef sausage, served with chips and bread, with ketchup and/or mayonnaise plus a drink. 'Snackers Combo' at 6.50 will be big enough for most people, with sausage, chips, bread and drink. You have a choice of spice level sprinkled on the sausage, 'A' being the least spicy up to 'F' for the most spicy. Anything above C is not for the faint hearted, so be warned!
The constant queues here at lunchtime tell you how good it is, and the owner is a character, adding to the experience, but you need to be a German speaker in order to understand his local slang and sense of humour. Highly recommended.

I've read the good reviews and gave it a chance when I was in town. I ordered the farmer. For me, the plate looked a bit empty, no fries. Perhaps they need to be ordered seperately? There were some crispy, grilled vegetables with a very small salad. Despite that, all was fresh and very tasty! The burger was juicy and well prepared with good quality meat. The burger, together with a big (good) beer was around 11 euros.

Maybe it's because this restaurant is in a business district, next to a hotel with many passing customers that they seem to be light on the quality and service.
I ordered a seafood antipasti starter (not bad, well presented) but things went downhill from there. My pizza took ages in coming and when it arrived it was pale looking, the dough was soggy from the tomato sauce and the mozzarella was chewy. It was clearly under-cooked but I didn't have the heart to send it back as I had waited so long and I was hungry, so I ate the best bits and left the rest.
I cannot recommend the pizza here and with the incredibly slow service I don't think I would bother to come back for a second chance.

Great atmosphere in a small but very cozy room with a handful of wooden tables and benches, centred around an open fireplace that used to be the smith's fire dating back to the 17th century. The food fits this rustic atmosphere: the "Flammkuchen" (French pizza!) is hearty and top quality. Lots of very nice local and international choices from their extensive wine list to go with this. I was impressed with the high quality of the food as much as very affordable price attached to it.
This was a highlight of my trip to the region and would love to go back as soon as I get a chance.
Do make Reservations and be prepared that you might share a table with other customers. On warmer summer nights there is lots more room on the patio.

Excellent cider, good food with regional dishes and a specials board and a good locals atmosphere. I prefer the 'sour' (dry) cider and amongst the interesting local dishes is 'handkase' - a young, raw cheese served with onion, caraway seeds and dark bread. Friendly atmosphere and good English spoken. A complementary schnapps with the bill completes a nice, relaxing evening. If you are lucky then you might get an impromptu schnapps tasting with other locals or a sing song with the church choir ('What shall we do with a drunken' sailor is in their repertoire).
