Place was packed out. Glad we reserved. Salad starter had a nice dressing. Beef stroganoff was tasty. Pork with tagliatelle in a pan lacked taste was bland but fresh. Waitress serving us was really busy but still managed to be efficient and friendly. Would recommend!

Brasserie Konrad is our well-known restaurant at Ski Lodge. It is named after the founder of Engelberg, Konrad von Sellenburen who rode into Engelberg 900 years ago to found the monastery. We gather our inspiration from the Swiss Alps, Northern Italy, France and our Nordic heritage and are truly passionate about local produce. Switzerland boasts some of the best cheese, meat and wine in the world - and we'd love to share these secrets with you.
Hotel owned by the Swedes in Engelberg, Switzerland. Superttevlig atmosphere. Very good menu, well-prepared food with a French twist, good wine list and cozy and pleasant setting. I recommend you to visit this restaurant. Book a table as it is popular.

Restaurant in the middle of the village. Our philosophy is natural, hearty and honest food! Our food is made from scratch with only natural ingredients. We strive to use the finest produce by sourcing the best ingredients, following the season and collaborate with local producers and companies as far as possible. Our kitchen has influences from around the world and is prepared with a Swedish touch. We truly believe that our guests deserve to have a great meal and experience away from home.
walked past this on my way to our hotel (Engelberg) and thought it looked really 'sweet'. Went back for dinner and wasn't disappointed. Good food, very comfortable, quite atmospheric. However, it was a quiet night so can't comment what it would be like when very busy. My only other observation would be the wine list. Whilst quite extensive I thought it was also a bit expensive. Or may be that's just Swiss exchange rate right now.

Our cuisine is young & creative; it's full of colours and flavours, looks great on the plate, and is fresh & imaginative. We enjoy treating our guests to trendy creations influenced by the great cuisines of the world - in fact, we like to call it trend food. Our sound design and our tables are styled for a perfect accompaniment: a club sound with beats that set the tone. Forget neat & nice, quiet & cosy: dining at Yucatan is an experience for all the senses. Between May and October, Yucatan extends out on to the sun Terrace with its lounge area to become a summer restaurant. Restaurant Yucatan's "second sitting" has become legendary. Besides apres-ski with a happy hour every day, DJ or live music and trend-food restaurant, this incredibly adaptable venue is the place to be to celebrate the wildest parties and take in the hottest Concerts. It's right at the heart of all the action ...

The SCHWAND is an authentic Swiss restaurant and guest house offering genuine Swiss cuisine and a bountiful brunch on weekends, all at reasonable rates. SCHWAND is located on the south slope just four kilometers uphill from Engelberg and is easily accessible by car in summer and winter. Our large south facing Terrace offers breathtaking views to the opposite alpine Panorama, and our inviting 'Stübli' invites you to linger and enjoy the warm ambience and delightful menu. SCHWAND is a charming event location with 7 rustic and cosy mountain style rooms with up to 17 beds. The nearby chapel makes SCHWAND a unique place to celebrate weddings and baptisms. Whatever your reason, SCHWAND is a delightful place to get away to relax and recharge.
We just popped in for coffee while out walking and couldn't resist a plate of their apple fritters with vanilla sauce, which were even better than the ones on the Apple Fritter Path above Grindelwald! Very friendly staff, despite our limited German. Lots of laughter and a general good feeling coming out of the kitchen. We left at 11.50 and people were pouring in for Sunday lunch, which seemed enough recommendation in itself.

The Stockli Cafe is a very nice bakery and restaurant. They have a wonderful selection of sweet and savory baked items, as well as freshly baked bread and sandwiches. I especially enjoyed their cheese sandwiches. They also have excellent coffee and espresso. Service was excellent also.

After a day up on the Titlis, what better way to finish it?!
We were looking for a local cuisine, and this place certainly is.
They have excellent cheese fondue (and they did not want to share its secret ingredients), and we also had spatzli and rosti with sausages.
Price wise - they are not cheap.

I had dinner here in November 2015, while attending an international conference. The food and atmosphere were very good. Service was attentive and good.

We came here for dinner. We were seated in the enclosed patio. There was a party of more than 10 people already seated there. The acoustic was so loud and disturbing that we finally had to ask to be seated inside instead. It's much better to sit inside. The food is not good at all. In fact, shortly after, I didn't even remember what I had eaten. Just the overall feeling that it's not so good. Not memorable at all. Service is good though. Servers are friendly.

This remains a very good place. They lost a star for the quality of lamb meet that could be better.
