Edgware (/ˈɛdʒwɛər/) is a district of northern Greater London, in the London Borough of Barnet. Edgware is centred 9.5 miles (15.3 km) north-northwest of Charing Cross and has its own commercial centre. Edgware has a generally suburban character, typical of the rural-urban fringe. It was an ancient parish in the county of Middlesex. The community benefits from some elevated woodland on a high ridge marking the Hertfordshire border of gravel and sand. Edgware is identified in the London Plan as one of the capital's 35 major centres. Edgware is principally a shopping and residential area and one of the northern termini of the Northern line. It has a bus garage, a shopping centre called the Broadwalk, a library, a hospital—Edgware Community Hospital, and two streams—Edgware Brook and Deans Brook, both tributaries of a small brook known as Silk Stream, which in turn merges with the River Brent at Brent Reservoir.

This restaurant promised a lot but only partially delivered (for me, my fellow diners were very pleased) I'm always very pleased with curries that are full of flavour and made with very lean meat Maybe I'll try Chicken next time Overall an enjoyable meal however

Traditional Chinese restaurant situated in Knightsbridge popular with locals as well as business types and the shopped out from Harrods. The decor is all oriental splendour and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. What's cooking? Traditional Chinese fare. Signature dishes include crispy fragrant duck, steamed seabass and mixed seafood platter. Plenty of vegetarian choices with faux chicken and prawn dishes and a monk's casserole - a mixture of preserved and fresh vegetables cooked in a clay pot.
It's surprising to find such a high quality Chinese restaurant outside central London but The Good Earth lives up to its excellent reputation. This is Chinese food on a different level. Intense flavours, fresh produce, vivid combinations of ingredients and whispery shredded pastry coated prawns to die for. Service is slick and professional. Recommended.

Some regulars will come to B&K weekly, some will come to B&K monthly, some will come to B&K lunchtime and lots will come in the evening. Some will eat in and many more will take away. This place is for everyone because it has everyone’s favourite food that they will have enjoyed since early childhood. Dishes like Salt Beef, Latkas, Chopped Liver, cucumbers, and probably the best fish balls. Their bean & barley soup is sensational. Always smiling and very efficient the staff work at a furious pace. B&K is always a pleasure

In London's Edgware, Kabul City Restaurant offers fine Afghan cuisine in warm, stylish surroundings. Blending modern and traditional design, Kabul City features authentic Afghan dining. Stylish and inviting, the cosy interior features accents of red, dark wood furniture and contemporary décor. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the service is friendly and knowledgeable. Full of flavour, the tasty menu features traditional Middle Eastern dishes like chargrilled halloumi cheese kebabs, marinated grilled lamb skewers or marinated sea bass cooked on charcoal. There are a range of vegetarian platters and traditional Afghan specials. Diners at Kabul City can bring their own alcohol and there is no corkage fee. Close to the High Street, Edgware Tube Station is within easy reach.
We had a large family gathering at the restaurant. We had ordered takeaway before, and choice was plenty. It's simple to say, it's one of the best afghani/persian restaurants in London. Kabuli pilau was excellent, mantoo was unusual, never tried previously. Mixed grill was standard. Mandi was a slight disappointment, compared to mandi in UAE. Shami kebab wasn't the one served in Pakistani cuisine. The shami was more like kofta kebab. Kofta curry was good. This was just another version. Decor was traditional, and service was swift. Excellent value for money.

Indian Bar and Grill with a Kenyan twist
Don’t head to this restaurant expecting haute cuisine or pretty surroundings. Do go expecting succulent grilled meat, tasty curries and exceptional bread. The surroundings may not be up to much and the service may be haphazard but this place consistently delivers on the most important aspect of a restaurant in my opinion: good food at reasonable prices. The best curry house in London in IMHO, better than tayabbs and other competition in a similar market.

izgara restaurant Very delicious fresh food and excellent service Best barbecue fresh salad and meze.
My wife and I are regulars at this restaurant, but since the restaurant was re-decorated it has been fully booked every time we tried to get a table. Thankfully due to the bad weather we were able to get a table yesterday. The staff were very welcoming and the manager was as pleasant as usual. I welcome the changes to the menu, the lamb ribs with rice was delightful.

Not exactly a regular but been here enought times to know what’s on offer which is usually a good all-round experience. On arrival for an early lunch, greeted by half the bar area covered in dust sheets. Assumed they’d had work done this morning and were just finishing off before we all packed in for what turned out to be a busy Friday lunctime.
But no.
We all sat and ate while workmen drilled and hammered, taking out a fireplace and putting in a woodburning stove apparently. Appalling noise! Unbelievable! No sign up to apologise for the inconvenience, and we were all expected to carry on enjoying the experience as it nothing was happening.
It did stop for a while... when the two workmen went off for their lunch break. You couldn’t make it up!

went for my birthday with the wife and enjoyed our meal. Never left wanting for more food, BUT, the service from the waitresses was pi55 poor!
The staff who bought the skewers around were generally very good which is why I let the inclusive gratuity stay.
Oh and £2.30 for a can of coke, no lemon or ice - ffs!

We've been coming to this restaurant for a very long time, it was a pub once upon a time and the decor is very much in keeping with that, it's super busy and full of energy of an evening. The staff are lovely, in particular Kumar was very helpful, our baby was given lots of fuss and he was very excited about the fish tanks.

On event days, please call the restaurant for enquires about the opening times as it tend to differ.
Two friends experienced a delicious set meal for two. The owner was very hospitable, and concerned we would not have enough to eat, included an extra prawn dish and second glass of wine on the house! There was more than plenty, and every dish was mouth-watering. Very prompt service meant we could enjoy the meal at our leisure before the short walk to Wembley Arena for the Strictly 2018 show.
We highly recommend this restaurant, and shall be making a return visit in the near future. Excellent value for money, and a lovely host. See you again, Thank you.
