Bistro-style restaurant in an amazing location overlooking Hornhead, Sheephaven Bay (our holding tank for Crab and Lobster!) and the distant hills and fields which provide the best quality, fresh produce for your enjoyment. Elegant relaxed surroundings, attentive unobtrusive service, and attention to detail are our hallmarks.
Fabulous, interesting and imaginative menu in a delighful environment. The service was fantastic, do not miss this one, it is very special. The six of us enjoyed a wonderful evening starting with a relaxing pre dinner drink in the excellent and comfortable lounge through to sitting down to eat in the dining room where the superb service continued right through the evening. A definite rerun is required.

Eat here with friends from Letterkenny on their recommendation. They weren't wrong. The place seems to be in the middle of nowhere but the food was without exception excellent. Great pace for couples or larger groups.

Popped into the Starfish Bistro for a brunch and had the best french toast we've ever tasted.
French toast with bacon, maple syrup, bananas and natural yoghurt. Simply delicious.
Yes there was a bit of a wait but we knew the food was being freshly prepared so no problem with that. Read the papers and had great coffee.
Top ups of coffee and tea offered.
Service was excellent too.
Will definitely be back....again and again.

My wife and I have been coming to the Mill for years now. We spent last weekend here. What keeps bringing us back is the wonderful overall experience: the warm welcome from Susan, the friendly waiting staff and the superb food in the restaurant. The breakfast is also excellent. There is a great selection of fruit salads, bananas in cinnamon, rhubarb and other delights. The hot food is cooked from fresh. The rooms are comfortable, most of them with lovely views over New Lake. It is a perfect base for exploring the beauties of Donegal. We just love it here.

The Traveller's Inn, Milford is a family run bar and restaurant dedicated to bringing you the finest local produce in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Established in 1867, The Traveller's Inn has long been known as the home of good food, where the locals love to eat. Building on a great tradition, the venue has evolved to become a premier place of hospitality in the northwest. A visit to The Traveller's Inn lets you experience everything that is good about Donegal and Irish hospitality. That includes a warm welcome, excellent food, friendly service and exceptional value. The menu includes a large selection of matured meat, fresh poultry dishes and local seafood, so guests can savour the best of The Wild Atlantic Way in the relaxed and traditional atmosphere.
My family and I are frequent visitors to Fanad in Donegal and can now say without a shadow of a doubt that the best place in the whole county for a friendlydrink or good homely cooking, and always a warm welcome from Michael McBride and his staff, is the Travellers Inn. The menu is basic but delicious and always good quality. The beers include a local brew which is a real treat. But the most important factor is the warm and genuine welcome every customer experiences, whether new or old.

Been many times when here on holiday, quieter than usual as we’re out of season. But possibly the better for it, plenty of room service as always friendly and prompt. Enjoyed The haddock and chips, well cooked, tasty and very good value. Even better that my team won!

We where taken here by my brother. Staff were very friendly. The 4 of us has a starter and main course each. The warm goats cheese salad was excellent. With the main course we received extra vegetables FOC. Duck was lovely. Couldn't manage a desert as the 1st 2 courses were more than enough. The quality of the food was to a high standard.
Also the view out the full glass wall over looking the lough was very pretty.
Would go again

Open 6 days a week; closed on Tuesdays.
Ate with a group of friends. They ran out of bread that day (we ate at 3pm) so all our dishes were served with just half a slice of bread. When asked for the bill we didn't receive on just told the amount! Very strange. The lobster Sandwich was delicious just on the small side as not enough bread.

i had called in advance about ordering a slimming world dish and was given the chefs personal number which I didn't feel comfortable ringing so when we arrived as part of a group I didn't want to be embarrassed by asking at table so I asked waitress first it was made such a fuss I was mortified they threw together a stir fry which was dripping in oil and tasted horrible I'm not fussy but I couldn't eat it we had paid a lot of money for a set menu as part of a group and felt so bad leaving will never be back

The Links Bar and Restaurant is situated in the beautiful, idyllic, Narin & Portnoo Golf Club, with green and rugged vistas outside our windows. We strive to provide amazing service, food & drink to our wide variety of customers, including golf club members, tourists and locals. We hope our menu has something to suit every taste, whether it be a lunch time snack, or a Sunday roast.
Our party of 7 enjoyed a super lunch - good, freshly prepared food, proper golfers' portions and a nice view of the putting green and 1st hole. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere made this a perfect stop before a walk on the strand.
