At the foot of the Castle, the restaurant La Tavernetta offers a highly-selected cuisine of exquisitely meat and fish dishes. The hundred places in the restaurant are distributed in three rooms.
My wife and I ate here two consecutive nights while staying at the Castello di Spessa The first night we had a most lovely bottle of Amarone, the best bottle of wine we've had in years. I had truffle tagliattelle and venison. The second night we had a bottle of bottle of Agllianaco, along with bean soup and pigeon. Great food, great service and great atmosphere.

I ve been there last august, we were 2 couples and we decided to stay outside because the weather was beatiful. We ordered and there was a bit of waiting, we all got different starters and were very good especially the one with mozzarella and cured meats. I had a mixed grilled meats for main and portion was a bit too small of what i expected. House white wine was ok, price worked out a bit dear, not a disappointment though.

Had never been before to Goriska Brda. Just walked in to the first place on the road to had some snacks. And it was a good luck. Just a perfect restaurant with great food, excellent local wines, cosy Terrace and nice view. Polenta with mushroom dressing, tartar beefsteak and Rumena Rebula white wine are all highly recommended.
Friendly staff. We will certainly come again while next time visiting Brda and mostly likely will stay here overnight.

Very pleasant people waiting for you in this charming place. Restaurant is part of a famous local winery (Collavini wines) and therefore wines are obviously the main attraction,,,,,,
Food is good and prices fairly honest.
It deserve a stop while travelling around Collio and Colli Orientali del Friuli

In the heart of Collio, the restaurant is located in a building dating from 1700, with typical Cormonese architectonical structure. It has a delightful terrace-garden. The cuisine is inspired by Central European cooking and of high quality. Wide wine choice with special attention to local wine-growers.
Every dining experience here is simply divine. The food and presentation, the ambience, and the family who have created and oversea this gem are to be commended.Whether you cosy up by the fire or sit in the larger of the two rooms there is an understated casual elegance that pervades the atmosphere here. No missteps on this menu or their wine list. Your host will graciously help you navigate the offerings and ensure a wonderful dining experience

My third visit to Al Postiglione in 7 years only proved it again: this place is bound to be one of the best restaurants in the FriuliMy area! I have experienced three different owners now, and I can say that Francisco definitely proved to be the best host: wonderful dishes (needless to say that his Paraguay roots can be traced in wonderfully prepared meat variations), paired with a warm and friendly way of making you feel "at home". The fire place was crackling, and everyone made it a
special night for us. I recommend to let Francisco recommend a menu... And, of course, to enjoy the great selection of Perusini wines.

My wife read about this place in a travel blog for the area, so we decided to check it out. Maybe we were influenced by our infatuation with the area, but our family's evening at Trattoria Da Mario was delightful. We ate outside in the garden area which was cool and pleasant even in August. When Mario offered to select our meal as well as his recommendations for the wines to accompany each course, we didn't hesitate and we weren't disappointed. We communicated with a mixture of Italian, English and German as he explained each dish and wine. We were served regional, seasonal dishes and local wines. Since American families are a bit of a novelty in the area, Mario seemed to take extra time to explain each course to us. For us, it wasn't just dining, it was entertainment and cultural experience.
