Stopped here for dinner before a show at Église Emmanuel and it was a good choice. Dining solo, sat at bar. I don't speak French, but staff was very friendly in accommodating me. Great beer selection, had a burger and fries. Large portions, burger cooked to order perfectly. Pizzas also looked good and will try that next time, or if I have a bit more time (or am with a guest) try a full steak dinner!

In this small eastern twomship town, there is a great place to eat and drink. The service, in english by the way, was excellent, the waitress could not have been nicer and my wife and I really enjoyed our dinner.
They have Farnham beer, but we settled for a delicious sangria. The table d'hote had great choices, we had a soup of celery and apple and a pastry with escargots, for the main coyrse we both had cod on very refined pesto sauce and for dessert, a choco-beer cake and a creme brulee.
On a friday night the place was packed outside but had plenty of room inside.
Do not miss it if you are in the area.

The service was stellar, and the place was not crowded on this Saturday night, around 6:30 p.m. Nice classy setup, romantic set up with Italian music playing.
We enjoyed the veal Marsala and penne with Italian sausage. We felt the food wasn't authentic Italian food; it was tasty, but...

La Couquerie makes its own bread, jam and beans. The breakfast is very good. It is a popular place because the food is so tasty, made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed. The staff is bilingual, attentive and courteous. They do not take credit, so cash is necessary. Prices are very good even though you must pay extra for jam. Coffee is ordinary. Parking can be a challenge when it is busy. Location is off the main streets, so finding it may be a challenge for some. Most locals know where it is however.

You wouldn't know it from the limited reviews, but this is a fantastic place to eat! It is comfortable and good. They know how to do everything from breakfast (even crepes with French cream) to beautiful poutine and chicken fried rice! Their soups are often homemade. I ALWAYS return here when I am in the area! Those who like it, like it a lot!

We have dined here three times. Each time the food was very good, but the menu leans very much to wild meats. Reservations are a must! It is a great place for a special occasion for medium sized groups. There is an outdoor Terrace in summer which is located to the side of the restaurant. Parking is a bit of an issue, but not too bad.

Our bakery, La boulangerie artisanale La mie bretonne, produces during the night, over thirty choices of breads made with Quebec flour, kneaded, shaped and cooked according to traditional methods of the French bakery. You can choose from white bread, specialty breads, Mediterranean breads, sourdough breads, traditional buns and more. There are also several pastries, macaroons, sandwiches, salads, soups, pizzas, espresso, cheeses and delicatessens from France and Quebec.
We made a quick stop at La Mie Bretonne while travelling through the Eastern Townships, and didn’t regret it! It was a hot day and their AC was broken, but that didn’t bother us. The was very apologetic and we opted for iced coffees to...MoreWe are happy to see your comments, really nice :-) Thank you very much for taking the time to add a comment about our bakery is a great reward for us to know that we made our customers happy!

I go regurarly for the Asian soup that I really like, the co-owner is Chinese. There are a lot of other choices, burgers, pizzas, Shanghai noodles and fish and chips that my friends also ate and they liked it very much. They have free wifi!

Finally - a good-quality, authentic Chinese restaurant in Cowansville. I loved my seafood served in a coconut shell, and my wife has had the fried fish in coconut sauce a few times. There's a nice variety of interesting dishes, including influences of Vietnam and Thailand, and the prices are reasonable.

Went in for breakfast and was blown away with all the choices they had to offer.
Sweet and savoury choices, as well as traditional and off the wall ones - a breakfast poutine ( eggs, sausage, hash brown potatoes, and curd cheese are presented in a casserole dish with lots of hollandaise sauce) was both fun, and, most importantly delicious.
Prices are very fair and coffee is included too.
