Overlooking the Atlantic the restaurant is on two levels both with views. Fresh fish pn display that you can select, the freshest always means good food. Great service, good recommendations. Cannot fault it - great value.

Restaurante e Cervejaria familiar com 48 anos, sempre com os mesmo mariscos fresquinhos e precos sempre acessiveis.
I, too, went to Eduardo das Conquilhas with high expectations. The setting was just about what I expected. The waiters were friendly, but clearly over-worked. I had fried squid which I enjoyed. Then I tried the crab; it was served cooked, but chilled. I'd never eaten an entire crab COLD before, and didn't find it pleasant. The body of the crab was filled with a goo that was terrible. The worst part for me was the lesson I learned about salted cod. I don't know how people get used to that - Ugh! It must be an acquired taste that I am unable to develop. If you don't like highly over-salted food, avoid bacalhau (cod) in Portuguese restaurants. I am not British, but definitely prefer my cod in British pub-style preparation rather than poached, with no flavor except for so much salt. This place was rather pricey for such a casual atmosphere too.

At lunch we didn't have much time to spare, but still the efficiency of the staff managed to fit a quality meal in a relaxed environment in just the time we had. Definitively recommended for the food, atmosphere and staff.

Friendly familiy-atmoshpere. The vaitor is gladly willing to translate the whole menu if needed. I go for a coconut-based chicken-dish. Chicken in sauce with rice. Efficient and very welcoming service. House´s white-wine. A gatering in the restaurant is making lovely noise with laughter and talking. Served bread, olives and a sliced sausage by default. I skip the olives only. Nice starter with three different marmelade-thingies on the side. Main-cource reminds me of standard asian curry-dishes and the like, and tastes great! Comes with extra spice for flavour and added texture if wanted. Godd amount of food. Gets me full after a day with four hours tennis. Dessert I go for Mango-mouse wich is facinatingly good. Love it!

This restaurant is a gem. Highly attentive staff review the menu with you bringing a drinks trolley to your table followed by the selection of fresh fish brought out for you to select the finest fish to be cooked. Fresh lobster and crab live in a huge tank ready to be chosen.
The food is superb we had chateaubriand for two which was very tender but also cold as we were with a larger group and presumably they waited for all meals to be ready before bringing them to the table.
The food was served at the table by several attentive waiters.
The view, the ambience and the staff were superb. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. A great place for a special occassion.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the front desk staff at our hotel and we were not disappointed. It's located near office parks around the Porto Salvo area of western Lisbon - I'm glad we took a cab. The three of us arrived at about 8:00pm on a Sunday evening. We were prompty greeted at the door, and shown to a table. The dining area was decorated in a modern motif, clean and neat; about 40% of the tables were occupied Our dinner consisted of a fish soup (which was delicious and a meal in itself) as the only appitizer, a perfectly cooked (medium rare) broiled beef steak, a seafood brochette (served vertically hanging from a stand) and grilled stuffed sea bass. The main dishes and the sides were all delicious and attractively presented. The portions were large; the Waitstaff was attentive, friendly and helpful. I recall our waiter took the time to describe the specials of the day in detail in English and did a good job. We had dessert ( choclate cake and a flan pudding) and coffee at the end of the meal. I was pleasently surprised when I learned the tab was only 92euros, which included bottles of water and a carafe of wine. When I returned home I learned that this restaurant is one of two restaurants with the same name and from the same company doing business in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant (on Largo do Chafariz) to anyone who is in the western surburbs of Lisbon, and is looking for a quality meal served by professionals. I look forward to returning and visiting their other location along the seacoast.

We went there for dinner with other two colleagues from the office. The food is very good: well cooked and very good quality. Leave some place for desert, they just simply out of this world. A bit expensive for Portuguese standards.

A family visit to a pizzeriais always a good stuff (well known by their pizza) so i decided for something else... Penne al Capricciosa, Veggie Lasagna and, of course, pizza!
The pizza wasn't as good as expected, almost tasteless and the base was everything but crispy. Soggy and almost undercooked! Not what I was expecting (miss the ones from La Cucina Italiana in Macau or Forno Velho in Fafe!!). The Lasagna was acceptable. Looked more like a "Francesinha" than a Lasagba... way too much sauce!
The Penne was better than expected. Nice mushrooms and the shrimp was tender but not overcooked. Probably the dish of the dinner!
For drink we had Sangria. Wasn't bad but had way better ones.
Service was ok. Really nice staff!

The Aashiana is typically Indian in the heart of Carcavelos, where you can enjoy the most delicious specialties of Indian cuisine. Opened in mid-2009 and revealed itself early on one of the best Indian cuisine restaurants of the Estoril Coast. Cozy place, exquisite taste and refinement, providing its customers with relaxing moments in an environment of great comfort. In Aashiana every detail has been designed with the utmost care, from the decor to the service, so that you can enjoy a nice meal.
Today we decided to stay away from meat and eat vegetarian. The choice for Indian was easy enough - in our opinion the best vegetarian cuisine by far. We had malai kofta and bangan ka bartha with rice and naan. The food was super tasty, the service friendly and fast and the decor, well, romantic. Great lunch and we'll be back for sure.
