Go here at least once a month and the food is great!!!!! try the mixed grill or a boneless chciken BBQ for the hearty eaters or the great grilled meat sandwiches if you want something lighter.staff are great and when busy, its well worth hanging around for a seat when one becomes available. Go!!!! you won't be disappointed.

Our food is fresh & sourced locally to embrace the flavours of the region. We are Taste Lancashire Highest Quality Assured & members of Made in Lancashire. We offer an extensive wine & also cask ales for which we achieved The Cask Marque Award. Upstairs we have a separate function room for private dining or business occasion. You can always be guaranteed a warm welcome & friendly service.
Haven`t been here for years, then for one reason or another have been three times in as many weeks. First was just a snack lunch, then evening meal with two other couples, then a meeting function with pie, peas and chips.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the food on the good side, but in my opinion a bit overpriced for pub grub - home made meat pie with chips and peas was around £15. The pie was good, plenty of lean meat, just a bit pricey. I also think the menu is a bit limited and could be expanded. Same applies to the wine list.

We took mun here for a meal, and she really enjoyed the food.
The staff were very helpful, moving chairs so she had ease of way towards the table.
The food is was served hot and we did not have to wait long at all.
Starters were a mixed platter and poppadoms and chutney's.
Main meals were the king prawns two types and chicken dish.

The Red Lantern opened in 2009, taking over from The Regent which had been there for 18 years. We are a family run restaurant serving authentic Cantonese food. Previuosly from "Charlie Chans" in Chinatown Manchester (which opened back in the 70s) we aim to serve Cantonese food in Burnley that is on a par with any Chinatown restaurant.
All squashed round one large table despite rest of the place being empty. Place was cold some of group sat with coats on. Even one of the staff agreed it was cold. Place looking tired in need of a make over poor lighting in some parts. Some of the food was cold and had to be sent back. Can’t fault the service and the friendliness of staff.

Frequent visitor to this great little place when in Burnley from South Wales. Always excellent food and service, and with the 'two for one' offer available most of the time, fantastic value.

Visited this pub/restaurant with friends for lunch. Do not be deceived by the outside. Very modern inside and recently refurbished. Staff are very pleasant and service was excellent. Food is very good. I think it is advisable to book as we went midweek for lunch and it was quite busy. Situated on the hills between Rawtenstall and Burnley.

Bellissimo's is a family run business providing the highest quality Italian, English and Mediterranean cuisine. We also serve fine wine and beer.
Fabulous, extremely friendly and delightful Italian coffee shop and restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. Lynn is such a credit to the establishment and the other members of the team also give impeccable service. All the dishes we choose were very tasty and well presented. The food exceeded our expectations. We generally visit regularly to have coffee (a great variety of lovely Italian filter coffee). This particular time was to celebrate a friends birthday. We are always made welcome and our custom is always appreciated.
The menu was very extensive and we were spoilt for choice. The minestrone soup and omelette we chose to have as starters was delicious. I chose lasagne for my main dish and it was exquisite. My partner chose tuna and cheese panini served with french fries and tasted lovely. Our friend chose a ham and mushroom pasta dish which she also said was absolutely divine. Dessert consisted of chocolate orange and hazelnut cheesecake which was mouthwatering.
We would highly recommend Bellissimo. You will not be disappointed. Thank you so much for a wonderful, delightful afternoon. We had a fabulous time. Extremely good value for money.

Bertram's Restaurant embraces a passion for exquisite freshly prepared food which is beautifully presented and served in the most unique of surroundings. The restaurant is located within The Woodland Spa at Crow Wood in Burnley. This unique elevated dining experience is open to everyone – you don’t have to be a member of Crow Wood or be visiting The Woodland Spa. It’s difficult to decide which is the most impressive – the sumptuous restaurant interior, the panoramic views courtesy of the floor to ceiling glass windows or the simply delicious food. Open for coffee, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, bar snacks and of course dinner - whatever you choose from the menu it will not disappoint even the most discerning of customers. For your comfort and enjoyment, Bertram’s Restaurant is an adult-only facility (age 16 and over)
Been going here on and off for a number of years now without any issues with the food or service. Last nights visit with a party of 7 however ended up in disaster for myself. The matradee was as pleasant as ever, a lovely chap who’s been there since the place opened I think. Anyway down to the nitty gritty, the halibut I ordered was overcooked and dry and the new potatoes it came with were bland and mushy, and for £20 I would have expected a few sides inclusive. Waiter service was also clumsy and disorganised totally with very little if no communication between staff. The young chap who brought our wine was also quite arrogant to be honest, offering nothing but a cock sure expression on his face every time he visited the table. So all in all I will not be returning to a place that seems to have gone right down hill in my estimations. If this establishment is commanding Manchester City centre prices then I’m sorry but it needs to step its game up massively. I can get two pieces of cod lion from Aldi for less than 4 quid and create a fantastic meal, and after spending the thick end of £400 last night I’m feeling very disappointed. The philosophy here now seems similar to that of the fence gate, it’s just somewhere to be seen, never mind the average food it’s just an image thing, the I want to be seen out at at Bertram’s philosophy. If I want pretentious I will go to San Carlo where I can find this in abundance, but in Burnley no thanks.

Bistro 197 is a family run business providing great food in a relaxed atmosphere ensuring the customer has the best experience.
Had an absolutely delicious meal at Bistro 197 for Valentine's Day. Muscles, cod loin, champagne sorbet and a dessert medley, fabulous. Could not fault the food, service or ambiance. Well done, yet again, Dan, Natalie and staff - never never disappoints. Always look forward to dining at Bistro 197!

Enzo's Pizzas and Pasta made the Enzo's way. 31 years and counting and we still use the same ingredients from the day we opened.
We try to call at Enzo's every other week. Amazing food and a friendly team always greet you. If you call your order through it is always ready when you arrive. But only takes 15 minutes to prepare if you just call when passing.
Great food Guys, keep it up
