This place is in the center of the little village of Golspie. The highway runs through Golspie, and there is a public parking lot just off the center, near the fish-and-chip place. At the side of the little parking-lot is this little wooden-tables café, which is obviously popular with the older locals. The place was full, but the service was quick. There are sandwiches and hot food, but we were just passing through, so we had the Victoria sponge cake, which was very good.

Stopped here on the way back from john o groats to Invergordon, so glad we did.
I had a kingrib supper with single black pudding and the chips where the best chippy chips I've had in a long time. Also the batter was fresh and crispy just the way I like it.
Kids had chicken nuggets and chips and they all scoffed it.
One had cheese pizza and no complaints.
Highly recommend this place, theirs also a restaurant next door, would definitely return

Very good food, tempered in heat to your preference, generous portions and the owner is in constant attendance. Great variety of choices as well.. Unusual to find such a good quality Asian Restaurant so far North. Service a little slow. Suits the pace of life in that part of the world. But, importantly, it is freshly cooked every time. Really nice relaxed evening with friends,

I'm in love with Brora and the fabulously friendly community here, plus this superb golf course! But you must come in for a meal at Braid's Bistro where Chef Richard produces amazing local cuisine such as meat pies and lobster Thermidorian, fresh fresh from the sea when available. Great chips, sticky toffee pudding and more!

As my heading describes, the young man who check us in was most courteous, he even offered to help carry our bags to our room.
Although the room and bathroom was in need of a make over, there was plenty of space and there was plenty of lighting, we had a room at the back which was great as we didn't have any road noise.
The bar was pleasant, and the guy behind the bar was also very charming, and new his trade.
We had a very nice meal in the restaurant my wife says her tagliatelle was superb, as was my duck breast, with a rather nice orange sauce , we were both very satisfied.
Breakfast was more than adequate. And freshly good, if one required a cooked breakfast.

Comfortable and spacious Indian restaurant providing Asian dishes to eat in or take away - "Great food and a friendly environment. This is one of the best Asian restaurants that I have eaten at in The Highlands." says a local visitor - our local 'executive' takeaway is very popular and fantastic value! - find the menu on our website.
Who would have thought, a fantastic Indian Restaurant tucked away up in Brora. Dropped in here on a Saturday night while up visiting friends, due to it having been highly recommended. We had a fantastic meal, with the lemon and cashew rice being a particular highlight, and plenty of more unusual dishes on the menu. Vindaloo was great too, and service was very prompt. Not the busiest place for sit down meals, but was doing a roaring trade in takeaway. A great find, and would highly recommend.

A nice little cafe that does its job. I just had a drink but the wife had a quick snack with the pea and mint soup which she found very good. Service was good and prices good value.
