it's a pity the restaurant don't take Reservations. the service is fast and correct a bit "depersonalised" though since the waitress run all the time, the food is ok.
if you are outside, unfortunately the smokers will invade your "sobremesa" with smokes... a pity.
Nostrana, "une valeur sûre"

High prices for small portions were not unexpected for this kind of top end restaurant (16 points on Gault-Millau, although last year it had 17), and the food was indeed good, refined and elegantly presented with a sofisticated touch of molecular cuisine. I can't complain about the service either: quite friendly. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was deceiving: the place feels a bit cold, not all elements of decoration are very tasteful for such an elegant place and the absolute absence of background music makes you feel uncomfortable talking as every word reverberates in the room. The wine selection is nonetheless very impressive.

Canvetto is a lovely restaurant, very clean and well kept, food is excellent thanks to Cesare, Cesare and his wife Paola are the owners, Cesare is the chef and Paola takes care of the clients. Good wine list, good service, lovely atmosphere.

Il nostro ristorante-pizzeria e posizionato nella zona pedonale di Brissago in riva al lago.Siamo vicini ad un parco giochi per bimbi, a 2 minuti a piedi dal porto e dai parcheggi.
Restaurant is very nice directly on the lake. Service very good and quality of food is good. I always have this problem with average and good. For me average is not good but this restaurant is good but not very good. My tomatoe salads just came out of the fridge and the tomatoes were ice cold. The tartar my friend ordered was ok but he was not asked if he wanted to have it a bit spicy or not. My lobster raviolis were all right but I did not taste any of the lemon grass sauce.

Typical restaurant with a cuisine revisited with the use of simple but high-quality products We always recommend booking
A short hike from Cannobio, this restaurant is a gem hidden in the forest. The atmosphere is lovely, and staff very friendly and attentive.
Lunch (3 courses) was delicious, and beautifully presented.
Would absolutely recommend this for anyone looking for a little excursion, great food combined with an easy hike.

Don't forget to reserve for this restaurant! A wonderful meal with excellent service - very friendly. I had the risotto and porchini - delicious. Everyone at our table had something different and all were very happy. We also chose a regional wine which was also excellent. We're tempted to go back tonight.

Grotto la Risata is a typical swiss italian grotto, you will be able to find it in the swiss telephone directory and probably in the tourist guide. The new owners are Simon and Jacky.
We’ve been to Grotto La Risata to taste the typical dishes of the region. Couldn’t be more satisfied!! The entire experience was stunning from the moment we stepped in. Perfect location, wonderful outside Terrace, good ambience and cheerful owner. Average prices, surely worth it. Definitely recommended!!

Il paese non abbiamo potuto visitarlo approfonditamente, ma quel poco che abbiamo visto per raggiungere il punto d'imbarco ci indicava che in una prossima uscita ne varrà la pena approfondirla

I have written a review but you didn't indicate the name of the restaurant<br>so nobody can find it....
The Bellavista enjoys a location few hotels in the world can boast (and I don't make that observation lightly) with the northern end of Lago Maggiore spectacularly set out below you from Locarno to Luino.
A breakfast buffet which is first class and of a freshness rarely seen. Home made Birchermuesli was the best I've had and the fresh fruit salad was just that. Fresh!
Good coffee and a single brown and white loaf of delicious crusty bread I haven't seen before.
The service was charming and attentive and the rooms, whilst functional were perfectly comfortable ... and to be able to observe the spectacular view whilst lying in bed is pretty special.
There's a swimming pool and a sun Terrace both of which were clean and comfortable.
Lastly whatever you do, dont plan on going out somewhere for dinner ... to sit there eating and drinking whilst watching the lights slowly come on all around the lake is worth the visit in itself.
A great place well worth giving a try.

Park your Michelin-starred attitude for an evening. This is a rustic establishment located in a remote area - typical of grottos in Ticino. The cuisine is simple - like eating at grandma's house. The view from the Terrace tables is unparalleled!! Who knows how long grottos will survive in the current economy? Partake of this traditional experience while you can. We enjoyed a caprese salad, homemade ravioli and tiramisu. Was the food Michelin-star worthy? No. But if you come here for that, you've missed the whole point.
