Carin and I found this restaurant online while asking for restaurants in Northumberland County. Kirsten and Dieter (our hosts) made us feel right at home. A beautiful room and a wonderful setting for a lovely evening with my wife. The restaurant has a good selection of wines and the food and it's presentation are terrific. The escargot are tender and tasty, as was the tenderloin of beef my wife had. My four generous lamb chops were cooked to perfection and presented beautifully.
This is a must do dining experience, but get your reservation soon - last res Wednesday to Sat 7 30 pm

We were driving back to Toronto from Sandbag beach and stopped in Brighton for lunch. We happened to randomly go into Rosie's and what a pleasant surprise.
We had their meat lovers pizza and I can honestly say it was amazing!
If you are ever in the area, make sure you stop by and try their pizza.
Rosie's seems like a family run restaurant which provides great service.

Yup, the greens are tricky but the fairways are generally wide so your approach shot is usually fairly easy. Four tee block choices from 5,160 to 6,633 yards. A smallish driving range. The course was cut into a forest so there’s lots of trees and it was wonderfully free of traffic noise. In fact, it’s one of the quietest courses I’ve ever played.
On the down side this is not a good course for a guy like me (who hooks) because there are a lot of doglegs to the right. The one thing that was way below par was the quality of sand in the bunkers. In fact, in most cases (when I was in the sand) there was virtually no sand; maybe a ¼” over hard clay. And many of the bunkers had a ridiculous number of stones. In addition, my wife noticed that the red tee blocks are often uneven.
On the plus side the service and food in the resto are better than average and the volunteers and helpful.
If you’re going to go, get a cart. It’s hilly.

Open from March 7th. Nestled on the north shore of Presquile Bay, we are a friendly healthy dining choice right beside the water. We welcome everyone. Enjoyed our homemade soups, quiche, chicken pot pie, baked fish n chips, mussels, healthy breakfasts and yummy desserts. Gluten and lactose free available.
Reasonably priced breakfast, $8.00 Bennie no side or $7.50 egg 2 bacon , 1 sausage with home fries and toast, very good deal and quality. It lost major points for really awful coffee, which wasn't included in breakfast cost. They should pay the customer to drink it. I would go back, just order tea or water next time and ask for the Bennie Med poached (they came a bit too under cooked for my liking). Service was friendly too.

Specializing in English style light batter Halibut, Haddock, Cod, Home Cut Fries, Fresh Salads, and Burgers.
Really fresh fish (haddock), large portions, great French fries (made right there, from scratch), very pleasant, friendly waitress, clean surroundings, great value -- what else could one want!

We visit often. Good selection of main dishes. Fresh batches made often. Won't ton soup is tasty. Poor selection of desserts. Consistent service. Reasonable price. Lots of parking.

Best breakfast in town and great value. Don't pass up the Eggs Benedict. Eggs done to perfection and good size peameal bacon on the English Muffin. The home fries are plentiful as is the endless cup of coffee. A great chef. Very friendly staff and very bright and clean.
