Once again, stopped off here for supper on our way to Yarmouth.THis is really the best place to stop for a meal when driving South on the #103 from Halifax. Everything is always very tasty and generous.This is not a fast food restaurant. This is real good authentic Maritime home cooking.

Went in for breakfast this morning with 3 others at 11am for breakfast. Our food still wasn't up by 12 & unfortunately we had to leave before we could eat because one person in our party needed to leave for work. We were understanding that the place was fairly busy, however people who were seated after us had eaten and left and we weren't served. Won't be back.

We were part of a group that went to this establishment last week. I had the 10 oz steak with curly fries and my wife had her usual Rosie Melt. It has been probably a year since we were there. The steak was very good and done as I asked it to be done and was priced very good . The curly fries were not very big. A lot of little pieces, but still good. My wife's Rosie melt was quite a bit smaller than what it use to be. She found it very good, but disappointed on the size. Service was excellent as usual.

This restaurant just underwent a great facelift, looks beautiful inside and the food never disappoints. This is our go to restaurant for staff lunches, etc. The buffet always has lots of choices, yummy Deserts and the food is reasonably priced. One of the best restaurants in Bridgewater.

So many places including fast food chains have simply lost the art of preparing a decent hamburger. For one thing their "so-called" meat is made up mostly of just bread with spices and/or herbs and some type of "mystery meat".
This little gem of a place does it like it was done back in the 1950s. One bite into one of their burgers and I thought I was back at a drive-in from days long gone. Some may disagree but this is the way a hamburger should be with nothing but total ground beef
with all the trimmings. And they fry the onions too which is most important.
Their service is wonderful as well.
Well done ladies! Keep it up.

My husband and I find this our favourite fish and chips place in Bridgewater. They offer the choice of battered or cracker crumb coating. The fish is always fresh and cooked just right. The portions are large.......you don’t need dessert....but if you can fit it in, they have homemade style pies. We occasionally order something else, and it has always been good. The other offerings are typical local food and good pasta with chicken, etc. We always recommend this restaurant to friends as the prices are reasonable and the food doesn’t disappoint.

Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

I stoped for lunch had a hot chicken Sandwich love there chicken there frys are the best service was not bad fairly quick but it was not busy the only compliant I like white meat so by time you pay the extra you might just a well get a half chicken with frys it would be cheaper

4 of us stopped in here for lunch. I ordered a hamburger, one ordered fish and chips, one ordered an Eastern Sandwich and one ordered a Clubhouse.
The fish and chips was huge and the person enjoyed it immensely. The Eastern was ok. My hamburger was not really cooked well done...it was rather pink inside. But the relish they used certainly had a strong, almost overpowering taste. I usually love all burgers, but this one...not so much.
But the Clubhouse Sandwich...had chicken, lettuce, tomato AND roast beef! We have never heard of a clubhouse Sandwich with roast beef. It was not really enjoyed by the person.
Service was good.. prices are very reasonable.
If we return..we will probably all get the fish and chips.

By the time we got to this part of our east coast trip, we just wanted something other than seafood, so we both got bacon cheeseburgers and they were soo good! Exactly what we wanted. Our waitress was very friendly, service was quick, and the prices were good. If we lived in the area, I'm sure we'd be here often.

Eaten here Several Times. The Greek Platter with hummus, feta and olives with peta is delicious. May want to ask for extra pitas, a lot of toppings. Shrimp Curry was a huge helping, which my girlfriend got with her Pina Colada. I got Chicken wings. I know I will be back here. The menu is so big, you lots of visits to try it all! They put Nascar on the tv for me. After all, it is lawyer Sunday!!!
