Restaurant Self Service full, the Sushi Lunch, Barbecue, Pasta and Catering and varied salads, and more than 20 different kinds of dishes of Brazilian cuisine daily.
It has a somewhat better choice than mr. quilo, (like filet with bacon). But it's very popular, which means noisy. As just about any restaurant per kilo, the price is somewhat high for thos who eat a lot.

The full buffet breakfast included coffee, milk, a variety of juices, fruits, cheese, pastries/breads, cereals, oatmeal, coffee cakes, and an omelet station. It was very good.
The lunch buffet included at least six items (beef/pork/fish/ chicken)in sauces, several salads, sausages, fruits, rice and beans and vegs, and several desserts. The entrees change daily. There were also two kinds of caipirinhas included with the buffet. The cost was 40 reals (about $13.00). The food and caipirinhas were delicious.

Churrascaria na categoria Top com o preço de uma mediana, comida de excelente qualidade, ótimo atendimento, e arquitetura bem tradicional da região norte, em Madeira.

We don't speak Portuguese, so the translation from the exotic terms to Portuguese does not help... we just ordered the 2 Tapioca sample platters (degustaçao). Having travelled and eaten all over the world, this stuff was unknown to us - and we liked it, especially the shrimp and meat items.
To drink, they do home-made juices and lemonades. No alcohol.

This is one of the few restaurants that are open at night all week long in town. If you are visiting Boa Vista on a week day like a Monday, that is the place to go. They've got tables on the sidewalk, that give the place a relaxed atmosphere, besides being fresher, what is a must because of the heat of the region. There are delicious tropical juices, like tapereba, to those who do not appreciate alcohol. The food is also good, but a bit expensive.

"Peixe a delicia", "banda de tambaqui" and "bolinho de bacalhau" are the best. I dis not like the rice because of the prune. All in all, a place worth visiting.

Just when we pass by in front of Le Roy st., where this restaurant is located, its beautiful architecture calls our attention. Inside we find much comfort and a lovely regional decoration. Prices are high, but sometimes we deserve a place like this.

Two blocks away from Uiramutam Palace Hotel, where we were staying. It was open on Sunday night. The street is not brightly lit, but it seems a safe area.
There were only locals, several coming with a taxi, which is a good sign.
The fish dishes were excellent (of course, you must go for the amazonian fish, pirarucu and the like). The portions are huge, as in most brazilian restaurants.
The caipirinha was more than welcome after the heat of the day.
Sitting out is pleasant, but use mosquito repellent.
Service is kind of slow too, but it means that our dishes were prepared when ordered.
Strongly recommended in a city with not that many good places to choose from.

The pizza is so thin and I loved that. You should try the local one called "Roraimense" if you are on a diet, the best is "tomate seco com rúcula". Enjoy!
