We've visited a few times in the past year. McMunns used to be the Greenmount Hotel and has been radically redone by the new owners. Service is brisk and friendly and the fish dishes are generally quite good. A little pricey, especially for wine, but overall a good experience.

Very good atmosphere, very friendly staff. I tried the seafood chowder, it was very good and hit the spot after coming in from the cold. My partner has the mushrooms on toast also very good. Tried the sticky toffee pudding, it was OK, not the best I've ever had, washed down with some green tea, overall a very pleasant experience. They have an open fire.

The restaurant is in the famous Ballybunion Golf Club. The reataurant is open to the public and serves a great dinner. Booking advisable at the weekends. Beautiful view of the sun setting in the evening over the sea.

Previously ate here a number of years ago. Went back on the spur of the moment. Food was excellent with large quantities. Had the cod tempura with salad and chips. Would highly recommend it. Other member's of the party had beef and lamb. No complaints. The Deserts were also excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Nice little ice-cream parlour in Ballybunion. Really busy when we were there which is testament to how good the ice-cream is. It's not particularly cheap but I wouldn't call it expensive. Definitely worth a visit. We've dropped into this place on our last few visits and made the trip to Ballybunion specifically for the Surfers Special @ €7.50. Warm doughnut, fresh cream and your choice of Ice cream (flavours include cookie dough, baileys, white choc and Oreo, raspberry ripple & mint chocolate), all topped of with a choc/caramel sauce. Looks good but tastes better. If you're in the area, don't have lunch and treat yourself to a Sundae.

At Strollers our chefs pride themselves on using the freshest ingredients, and local seafood is delivered daily. The ever-changing menu, along with the special attention given to each and every guest has made Strollers a haven for food lovers from near and far.
Located in the Teach deBroc guest house. Locally sourced, excellent presentation & preparation. Diverse menu. Have eaten here multiple times and the experience, hospitality, food & drink are well beyond expectations. Have likely had pretty much everything on the menu and everything excellent. Never had lunch here but many a breakfast - could be the best Full Irish in all of the Republic. Complete with freshly squeezed juice. Great coffee.

This venue has a warm welcoming decor but the food is anything but simple pub grub. We were seated in the restaurant area right by the window and could watch the sun go down. We both had the Hake which was served with delicious creamy mash and vegetables. The best part though was dessert, the Eton Mess was the best I've ever had and beautifully presented in a conch, continuing the seaside theme. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed the whole experience. Nice romantic setting for couples but also suitable for bigger groups, many families were there at the time.

We played Ballybunion Golf Course. Out of season, there aren't many places to eat. Daroka should be on your list of places to eat when EVER you are there. An absolute must! Most of the guests we spoke to tonight were regulars who drive up to an hour to get there. Will definitely plan for a visit here on the next trip to Ireland.
