Breathtaking views and natural design make this one of the few "timeless" courses found throughout the world.
Golfer's Nirvana! Absolutely beautiful! The course is very challenging, but playable if you can stay in the fairway. The rough will eat you alive. I strongly recommend a banger and egg Sandwich at the snack shack. Very nice! The clubhouse is beautiful and very well accommodated. After my round of golf, my wife and children met me for lunch. The food is delicious. There is a beautiful view of the course from the dining area and adjacent balcony. Overall, a wonderful experience! Every golfer should play this course at least one time in their life!

Bromore Cliffs is a walk along the cliffs of Bromore with spectacular natural scenery. Breathtaking views of wildlife, hertiage and the Devil's Castle. Situated only a mile north of Ballybunion, Open daily from 10am to 6pm
Having visited the Cliffs of Moher the same day we thought we had seen the best the Atlantic had to offer. That was until we experienced the views from the Bromore Cliffs.
The walk might not be paved, and the entry might not be superbly sign posted, but the views are the best we have seen in Ireland.
3 Waterfalls, rocky outcrops and an ocean view that you will take away with you forever. We cannot stress enough, for anyone that ventures south to Ballybunion make this a MUST destination on you visit down this Wild Atlantic Way.

It's fenced off now, but when we were kids we would walk right up to the edge and stare down. It's such a lovely dramatic spot.

Beautiful August day at the beach, 63 degrees, the cliffs on both sides allowed my wife to take her jacket off. I love the ocean, I'm an excellent swimmer. Back in the Bronx if it ain't 75 degrees we BBQ. We stuck to the seaweed bath and enjoyed every minute of it.

On the suggestion of several Ballybunion locals I tried the Collins' Hot Seaweed Baths. For 20 euros you go to a private tub room and luxuriate for 30 minutes in the invigorating seaweed hot water bath which produces an amazing natural oil refreshing the skin. There is no odor and it is all extremely clean with a towel provided. There is a 1920's atmosphere as this establishment and the tubs have been going since 1927. Open from June until the end of September. A local tradition includes running into the sea after the bath - I skipped that.

We had our family holiday in Ballybunion this summer - we had a fantastic week but the high was my husbands surf lesson at the Ballybunion surf school. The instructor was a fantastic instructor - my husband had a great time. & even managed to catch a few waves! Would be great for beginners & advanced alike. the beach is absolutely stunning so I enjoyed playing with our little one & paddling with an ice cream while watching the surf lesson. They did lessons for kids & adults - a very family friendly activity for all ages! I might be tempted next time!

Our treks and trails take you through diverse scenery of the Irish countryside, allowing you to sample the beauty of region, meet locals and share their passion for the outdoors.
Had a wonderful ride over hills thru farms and streams. Staff was very friendly and professional and tailored the ride to our abilities so there was plenty of trotting and some canter as well. The horses were gentle and responsive. One of the best ways to see this country is on horseback. Had a wonderful time riding at this stable.
