The restaurant is nice, location is close to centre and railway station, price is ok but portions...I ordered a tomato salad with cheese and looks like this is one of those restaurants where 'salad' calls for a side dish, very tiny portion. Pancake filled with cottage cheese looked liked it was microwaved, vanilla puding on top...Wasn't satisifed.

Depending on the cook, but generally very delicious food is served in this restaurant. Prices are normal (could be cheaper and could be more expensive), beer is cold (from the tap). You have to try the tripe if You are there.
Children can play outside on the playground till parents are eating on the Terrace.
You can pay by card.

If You want to eat delicious food while You are watching the big part of Lake Balaton, You have to try this restaurant. The service is excelent (waiters know what their jobs are), foods are delicious. You can spend some night of its pansion also. Quite place with beautiful view for the lake. Érdemes ide bekukkantani egy finom ebédre, ha Balatonalmádi és Alsóőrs között autózik a 71-esen. Az étteremből gyönyörű kilátás nyílik a Balatonra, a felszolgálók profik (tudják mit, hogy kell csinálni), az étel isteni. Ha meg akar szállni, ajánlani tudom a panzió részt is. An elegant restaurant just next to main pier of Balatonalmadi. If you would like to try the hungarian cuisine or would like to eat something delicious, it is the best place to choose. Our restaurant is offering coffee and sweets too if you would like to drink something and just have a little rest in peace, come and visit us! It is open between Thursday and Sunday in the winter, from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.!

We like this restaurant because it offers top quality food and service. Our experience is that either of these are rare at the Balaton Lake.
The infrastructure of the restaurant is also what you would expect from a really good place: the table cloth, the plates, the glasses, the silver ware everything is excellent quality.
Why we like it, is also because the restaurant, although a fine dining experience, has a nice relaxed atmosphere matching the holiday feeling at the Balaton Lake.
Finally, the great addition is the small staff (2-3 people only), who are really friendly and who give a personal touch to the evening.

Zážitkový večer i s dětmi. Vynikající regionální kuchyně. Ochutnávky místních specialit. Animace nenucená netuší. Lze objednat odvoz na hotel. I s vašim autem. Prijemně strávený večer. Rozumnější předem objednat. Doporučuji ochutnat letité tokaje a domácí klobásky.

This inconspicuous little restaurant is situated right on the edge of Lake Balaton. Most tourists would not give it a second look as externally it doesn't look special. However if you want fresh fish from the lake this is the place to visit.
We had the pike-perch, just selected the one we wanted and it was fried simply and on the table. It was fantastic the flesh just fell off the bones and as it was so fresh it had a wonderful taste.
The fish was served on a wooden platter but plates were paper. It was accompanied by gherkins and onion rings. The onion rings were a little disappointing as I expect the chef just concentrated on cooking the fish!

I dropped accidentaly by this restaurant on my way back to Budapest. The food was served fast and was delicious, also had a good coffee here.
The restaurant has menus in Hungarian, German and English languages.
The restaurant is located across the street from the train station and the Beaches and close to the coach station. Parking is at the square in front of the restaurant but please check whether it's paying or not. (I was there during weekend when parking is generally free in Hungary.)

A friend of ours got married, and the wedding dinner was held at this restaurant. They offered buffet food, and all meals were really good. The day after we returned for lunch, and I had the best 'tojasosnokedli' (egg dumplings) ever. The service is good, the owner is a great guy. We will be back again.
