This restaurant is a little out of the way from the main street but not too far and well worth finding. The quality of the food is incredible and the portion sizes are generous! Highly recommended.

After owning and running a small Restaurant in Lamai for five years, Steve and Nit moved to Nathon in 2009 to open up Lucky Restaurant, a seaside Restaurant with sunset views across to Ang Thong Marine Park. We have a full Thai menu, European menu including traditional English breakfast, homemade fish and chips, Pizza's and Burgers and a Vegetarian menu. We serve hot and cold drinks, fresh fruit shakes, fresh Coffee/Cappuccino, cold beers, house wine, soft drinks, hot and iced teas/coffees. Our Restaurant has free WiFi and all are welcome. Opening hours are flexible, starting at 8:00 am and kitchen closing 8:30-9:00 pm Monday-Saturday and Sundays 10:00 am - 9:00pm. We are a simple and humble little Restaurant offering good homemade food at good prices and try our best to cater for all providing the best service we can. We welcome you to you Lucky Restaurant :-)
We felt “lucky” and tried the restaurant when visiting Nathon and we weren’t dissapointed at all! The panang curry with beef is amazing. My boyfriend asked for a little more spice for his dish upon ordering and the waiter came before serving and asked if he meant what he said about spice. He did- and the curry was very hot, very spicy and very tasteful. Recommendable!

Located right on the beach, Pla Pla, meaning "many fish" in Thai, is a casual spot for an extensive selection of fish and seafood and Western and Thai favourites in the daytime. In the evening, the restaurant transforms into a stylish venue for creative Mediterranean cuisine. At lunchtime, dine in the shade of palm trees and enjoy items such as light and tasty tomato gazpacho with prawns, grilled watermelon, avocado, cucumber pearls and mint; try the not-to-miss yellow fin tuna burger with tomato chutney, coriander, vegetables and light mustard soy cream on a sesame bun; or go local with the Phad Thai Kang wok-fried rice noodles with Samui rock lobster. In the evening, the venue takes on a more sophisticated ambience and an entirely different menu showcasing the culinary genius of Executive Chef Alex Gares. Savour delectable Wagyu rib-eye with potato and pancetta terrine, morning glory and green peppercorn sauce; or go for the authentic Catalan experience with Pata Negra Gran Reserva Iberico ham with pa amb tomaquet (traditional tomato bread). With Thai sandstone walls and floors providing a dramatic contrast to the steel-blue and silver decor that defines the restaurant's ambience, Pla Pla is the perfect setting for a beachside lunch or dinner. Seating is offered on an open, fan-cooled deck, on the open-air Terrace, or right on the white-sand beach.
Can you imagine I had this burger three time for lunch in my 6 days trip? Because it was the best burger I ever had other than in and out in US.

Aromi Diversi is a small niche restaurant, located directly on the beach of Ban Makham. Over the traditional menu and our great pizzas, we always try to surprise our guests with daily menus, ofcourse part of the traditional Italian gastronomy. The variety of the food, the friendly service and the cure of the presentation of the dishes makes Aromi Diversi a food art restaurant that has earned its guests and as a wave dynamically search for new flavors to improve and always offer to the guests a valid reason to come back. Kids and Pets are welcome in our restaurant, so, if the guests don't like both, should be better to find another restaurant and avoid to complain after with a negative feedback. The waiting time might be longer than a fast food; tables with kids do not have any precedence on the waiting time. The take-away service is subject to the presence of guests at the tables which ALWAYS have priority. We look forward to seeing in our restaurant, reservation is appreciated.
A small beach side place, very simple, but great food and friendly service. Good selection of wines, all in all difficult to remember you are on a Thai island. Great job !Dear Mr Phil, thank you so much to for having preferred our restaurant, we are so glad when our lovely guest feel happy, we are looking forward to you soon again for more dining experiences. Best regards.

Open !!The structure and a small hut near the sea, 50% and 50% Italian style Thai style, and a restaurant for everyone, not a super luxurious but very cozy. The rest and the kitchen that makes a restaurant, not the luxury and class restaurant which then provides a poor food.!! We inform our kind customers that the RESTAURANT will re-open on FRIDAY 27th April We wish everyone a peaceful Easter ... #BARDO
Great Italian cuisine (original pizza on original thin dough!), fine music, tactful waiters. The place is held by a very charismatic Italian, cooking by himself, meets and the guests. A real gem, I strongly advise to visit this place at least once (I bet you'll get back))
Прекрасная кухня (настоящая пицца на настоящем тонком тесте), приятная музыка, тактичные официанты. Заведение держит харизматичный дядька из Италии, сам готовит, гостей встречает и провожает. Настоятельно советую посетить!

Stumbled across this place & just had to go inside. It is a small property with about 6 bungalows right on Bang Po beach. They are not luxury bungalows but have all the mod cons like, air con, bathrooms, TV, wifi, fridges etc with some...MoreThank your kind words and for taking your time for written the review. We are please to see that you enjoyed your time with us and we hope to have the pleasure of being your host again at near future. Many regards Sean

The 4 Monkeys Coffee Bar tries hard to be cool. Looks good inside, they have tried to make the place interesting, with painting, photos and generally trying to look 'on point'.
Had a few beers and sat on the decking/beach, great location and enjoyed it very much.
Tip: Don't order the ice cream, it not very good.

KOH, Thai Kitchen & Bar, features authentic flavours from the Islands, along with great wines. Located amid a plantation of coconut palms and cooled by breezes from the Gulf of Thailand. KOH offers a setting and ambience like nowhere else on the island. Helmed by Chef Sumalee Khunpet, KOH's kitchen is a creative workhouse for authentic Thai cuisine, offering flavours that speak for themselves. Going back to the roots of some of the island's favourite dishes, Chef Sumalee, also known as Chef Jeab, has created a menu that is at once genuine and straightforward, but that also introduces less-familiar Thai recipes and flavours. Designed by architect Bill Bensley of Bensley Design Studios, the restaurant makes the most of its position on a palm-covered hilltop on the north-western tip of Koh Samui. The open-sided, open-air dining venue is at one with its surroundings, showcasing a contemporary space that is distinctly Thai in style.
I am highly impressed by this resort and restaurant. Prices are high but well worth it. The landscaping and general ambience of the restaurant and surroundings are truly praise worthy. Service quality is good in general, with the exception of the concierge and reception manager at the reception area (right at the car lobby area). While i can more than afford to dine and stay at this resort, I did not dress "expensively" and I am not a "farang" and I noticed a certain bias. This compromised my entire visit.
