Thai Cooking Class Samui that is operated by the local people. At our house, we have the herb garden and you can pick for the ingredient and you will learn how to prepare and cook many favorite Thai dishes from our recipes such as Khang Keaw Wan Gai (Green Curry Chicken in Coconut Milk), Pad Thai (Stir fried soft rice noodles with prawns ) and Tom Yum Goong (Clear hot, spicy and sour soup.
We have just returned to our resort after having a cooking class with Jul - what a truly fantastic experience. Open air cooking in a traditional Thai kitchen, with one-on-one teaching. We learnt about the herbs and their different uses, about the Thai cooking methods, how to use chili in different dishes, and walked amongst the herb garden. My partner and I cooked 6 different dishes between us, ate lots there, and brought home enough for another meal. Can highly recommend this class. Jul and her assistant helped us throughout and explained as we went, seeking feedback on all dishes. I think we'll be going back to learn more dishes before we fly home!

Come rain or shine, let us spoil you for an evening!
We came here end of January as a group of 5 and really enjoyed our night. Claire has a wonderful personality and the food was exquisite. My only complaint is that I ate too much!
I would definitely book this if you are a foodie and want a different experience other than the same same thai restaurant.

Very nice atmosphere Bar and friendly staff, good cocktail reasonable price good music, clean restroom with spa style and chilling very welcome for everyone.
We visited the bar on a good number of occasions during our recent holiday and enjoyed the atmosphere and the drinks (both alcoholic and mocktails). Try the " round the world" or "Singapore Sling" cocktails. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the seats and setting comfortable with under cover seats for when it rains! We will certainly visit again during our next holiday to Samui.

This beach is suitable for families since the waterbed is not deep and you can snorkel just nearby the beach..Chaweng beach is more alive compared to Lamai Beach

A popular tourist attraction this area has a Friday evening market we are told. Said to be fun. Lots of the hospitality spots have balconies overlooking the sea. Great. Eclectic international cuisines available, including Thai. A nice late afternoon or early evening spot for a stroll and refreshment. On the north coast of Koh Samui.

Truly asian in fashion - smoking cigs drinking beer watching people pummel each other. My wife is very non-violent but a tiger side in here came out here - apparently we both love blood sports - great night out

This was the first stop on our "Eco Tour"
Wat Plai Laem is a Buddhist temple compound on Samui's north-east coast featuring ,a striking white 18-arm image of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion and the Huge Happy Buddha . Wat Plai Laem offers visitors a view into Chinese-Thai beliefs as well as some elaborate Buddhist-themed art and architecture. It is a living and active temple, where devotees come daily to pay homage to Guanyin and the Buddha, who is also depicted in a number of statues and murals around the temple. This is a relatively new temple but the art techniques used in its creation are centuries-old and based on ancient beliefs. Adding to its feel of tranquillity, the temple is surrounded by a lake, which is teeming with fish. Visitors who make a donation to the temple are given a bag of food to feed the fish.

This a great shopping and dining option if you want to get off the street and out of the sun for a few hours. It’s clean and spa with a great variety of banks, shops and restaurants. There’s a cinema and play areas for children. As well, a large food store if you’re wanting to pick up beer and snacks for your room. Worth stopping in.

A lovely beach for swimming and relaxing with a good choice of places to eat. Has a few tree shaded spots and several places to hire sunbeds. There are a few jet skis but they are not a problem. There is no noisy monotonous banging music as on parts of Chaweng beach which is a great bonus.
