We had dinner here twice and one lunch during our stay in Turkey food was good and service exceptional. Only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the steak I had I asked to be cooked medium rare and it was medium well.
Great sunset views in the evening were stuning.

We have been coming here for a few years and always a pleasure to see the same people running this restaurant and serving excellent food at a good price

Great choice of food on offer. They do traditional Turkish food and also do a very good Indian and Chinese menu. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and polite at all times. Went there 3 or 4 times during our stay in Turgutreis. Would recommend this place to go for a good meal. Prices and portion sizes are very good.

We had one large pizza for 2 people it was a traditional one with onions mushrooms and pepperonni. Taste was really good, prices are quite ok. Next time I will try something other than pizza and see if they r also as good!

Visited in June and September. The views are great and we had a really relaxing time when we popped in there for a fresh ing drink after a long walk. We didn't have an evening meal but the snacks we had were very tasty and filling. We will be paying another visit when we return to Turgutreis next year.

Our Restaurant is located on the seaside at Turgutreis Town of Bodrum. We have a beach in front of the restaurant and we have a Terrace that you can be able to watch the amazing sunset. The cuisine is Turkish and Mediterranean, traditional.
The Sunset Restaurant on first appearance looks like a good choice. Nice location , tables on beach and busy with Turkish people.
We looked at the menu and the waiter who told us his family ran the restaurant recommended some dishes that mum and dad would be cooking in the kitchen.
On thinking back the dishes recommended were the most expensive but even saying that while food was a bit more expensive than the Turkish average it wasn't bad.
The food itself was nothing special, perhaps a chef in the kitchen would be a good idea?!
The kicker came with the alcohol. Having been in Turkey many times the prices in these types of places tend to be very similar. We had two bottles of wine. Typical Turkish plonk.
Four members of staff from hotel we were staying at were in restaurant so we bought them a glass of Raki each.
Bill came 1075TL he very kindly converted this to Sterling £250.
The wine was 350TL. £82 and the Raki £46
He also very kindly added a 10% service charge.
When I made a fuss he removed £30, basically the service charge.
The friendly little family guy was now less that friendly. We paid and left .
Avoid this place unless you have money to burn. Tourists are targets here. See some other reviews.
To put this in perspective the same wine on restaurant around corner is 55Tl a bottle £13!!!
I am always happy to pay a fair price for anything. This place will quite literally leave a bad taste in my mouth for a very long time.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
I wish we had!!!

Good place to eat turkish food by the sea. It's a family business and all the food is fresh and homemade except the chips - I'm pretty sure they were the frozen type. Prices are like everywhere else around the port. I include pic of the bill. The fruit and cake was a gift from the restaurant, since I commented it was my friend's birthday. The staff very friendly. The waiter that invites tourists in can speak reasonably good English and on my first visit to this place, I saw him washing his hands after using the toilet, and he wasn't aware I was watching him, so this means to me his hands hygiene is good. Also all the plates and cutlery spotlessly clean. There tend to be cats around, which are shooed away by the staff though not always successfully.
Locals eat there and this is always a good sign.

Positioned right on the beach front this place is ideal. The food is always wholesome and plentiful, and the service is good. Ashcun (not sure if spelling is correct) and the rest of the boys are always attentive and up for a laugh. The prices are reasonable for food and drink. You can also go on their part of the beach, and use their sun lounges and parasols, free of charge. Definitely a place to visit, either lunch or evening, if going to Turgutreis.
